The selection criteria for B.Tech. In Computer Science and Engineering change each year based on the cutoff percentiles in the JEE Mains examination and the number of seats available. The criteria may also vary for selection through the CUET examination. If we take an average, then the cutoff for computer Science is CRL 1 Lacs (approximately 90-95 percentiles).. .

Candidates who finally get the final admission to BSc Hons at SMVDU are also required to attach the documents required by the admissions committee of the University and send to the concerned Admission Committee’s email id. The list of following documents have been mentioned below required for SMVDU BSc Hons admissions:

• Class 10 marksheet

SMVDU admission process are both entrance and merit-based followed by counselling. SMVDU accepts the admission on the basis of CUET exam for most of the UG & PG courses.  For few courses such as BTech, MBA, M.Tech admission are based on JEE/CAT/MAT/GATE/CCMT. 

After pursuing BSc Hons from SMVDU, a number of career paths get open for such students. Candidates who wish to take admission to the BSc Hons programme offered at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University are required to appear for an entrance examination. The University and its affiliated colleges accepts the scores of CUET UG. Therefore, Class 12 marks are not enough for SMVDU BSc Hons course admission.
