KIITEE (KIIT Entrance Examination) is the university-level entrance examination conducted by KIIT Deemed to be University for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (except MBBS, BDS, PG Medical & PG Dental). The examination is held in multiple phases every year.

For BTech admissions, candidates are selected based on their KIITEE rank, programme preferences and seat availability during counselling.

The KIITEE 2026 application process is conducted separately for different phases. The phase 4 registration window is currently open. Candidates planning to appear in the next KIITEE exam should understand the eligibility requirements, application process and important registration guidelines. KIITEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria vary depending on the course for which a candidate is applying. The table below covers the eligibility requirements for the BTech programme.

Eligibility conditions are different for programmes such as BSc Nursing, Law, Management, Biotechnology, MSc and MTech. Candidates should check the programme-specific criteria before applying.

KIITEE 2026 Application

KIITEE 2026 application form is released online for each phase separately. Candidates have to register on the official admission portal, fill in their personal and academic details, upload the required documents and submit the application before the respective phase deadline. The university does not accept offline application forms.

One of the major highlights of KIITEE is that candidates are not required to pay any application fee.

• Complete the online registration using a valid email ID and mobile number.

• Fill in the application form with personal, academic and communication details.

• Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.

• Submit the application form and note down the application number.

The KIITEE 2026 application form was released on November 10, 2025. To apply for the exam, students have to complete registration, fill the form and upload documents. There is no fee for the KIITEE application form 2026. The last date for KIITEE 2026 registration for phase 3 exam was June 30.

• Visit the website - kiitee.kiit.ac.in 2026. 
• Select the ‘Online Application’ tab from the homepage. 
• Go through the Instructions to fill out the form. 
• Fill out the ‘KIITEE Online Application Form’ and submit it. 
• Upload photograph, Signature & 10th Pass Certificate/Mark sheet. 
• Preview all details and submit the KIITEE application form.  

NOTE: Candidates should retain photocopies of the ‘printed application form’, for future use.

Candidates applying for B.Tech(4 Years) Course should fulfill the following criteria:

1. Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in 2024, 2025 or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2026 are only eligible to apply for B.Tech (4 Years) course of the University.
2. Should have studied in regular full time formal education in their schooling/college.
3. Pass in 10 +2 or its equivalent with at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.
4. B.Tech Biotechnology / Integrated M.Tech Biotechnology. Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology taken together.
5. Should have born on or after 01.07.2005.

The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology conducts the KIITEE 2026 counselling online. The counselling process comprises choice filling, seat allotment, verification and reporting to the allotted college. The KIITEE counselling is conducted based on the ranks obtained in the exam. Candidates have to attend the counselling as per the schedule. Shortlisted students who are called for counselling have to bring original documents (listed below) and token fees to the counselling centre.

• KIITEE admit card 
• KIITEE rank card 
• 10th pass certificate 
• 12th Mark sheet and Pass Certificate 
• The graduation mark sheet and Pass Certificate only for MCA, MCA(LE), M.Sc. (Biotechnology / Applied Microbiology). 
• Diploma Pass Certificate and three years Mark Sheet (for Lateral Entry Candidates). 
• BTech/B.E./ MCA/ M.Sc. or Equivalent Degree Certificate (For MTech. /LLM/Ph.D Candidates) 
• A relevant certificate issued by the Competent Authority, clearly indicating the reservation criteria claimed by the candidate. 
• GATE Score Card (for MTech. GATE Qualified only). 
• Demand Draft of INR 75,000/- which includes the counselling registration fees of INR 10,000 (Non-Refundable) in favor of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar. The balance fee as per the fee structure is to be paid on the day of reporting.
