FTII JET exam centres 2026 will be conducted in 26 cities/centres across India. The FTII JET admit card mentions the allotted exam centre of a registered candidate. To appear for FTII JET exam, a candidate must apply by filling and submitting its registration form. An applicant can select maximum 3 exam locations based on their preference in the online form. In case there is no room in the candidates' preferred cities, they will be allotted another nearby city for their FTII JET exam centre.

How Many Centres to Select in FTII JET Form 2026?
The Film and Television Institute of India declares the number of cities a candidate can select in the FTII JET application form in its admission prospectus for the current year. As per FTII JET admission brochure 2026, candidates are allowed to select maximum 3 cities. While filling FTII JET online form, candidates must ensure they select the cities in the order of their preference, as FTII typically allocates the first preferred location by a candidate.
But, it must be noted that FTII has the right to change and/or cancel any test center/city at its own discretion. The Film and Television Institute of India will mention the exact location and address of the alloted exam centre in a candidate's FTII JET admit card 2026.

Things to Remember before appearing for the FTII JET 2026
Candidates must remember points mentioned below before appearing for FTII JET 2026.
- Candidates are advised to reach FTII JET exam centre well on time.
- The FTII JET exam centre address and reporting time will be mentioned on FTII JET admit card.
- At exam centre, no electronic devices such as mobile phones, electric watches, earphones, or headphones will be allowed at exam centre.
- The exam centre will not allow candidates to appear for Joint Entrance Test who arrive late.
- Candidates must take a physical copy of their admit card with them to the exam hall for entry.
- If any candidate is found using any means to cheat during FTII JET, the answer sheet will be taken away from student.
- Along with FTII JET admit card, candidates are also advised to carry valid identity proof.

The FTII JET counselling will start after the results are declared. FTII will release the counselling schedule on its official website for all courses and students will have to appear in the counselling process. During the counselling process, they will have to bring all their original documents as per their educational qualifications.
FTII offers One Year PG Certificate Course in Sound Recording and TV Engineering. For admission to this course, candidates have to fulfill below eligibility criteria.
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent.
Note - Candidates who have not received their graduation degree before the application date are required to submit the same before the date of admission.
