Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has started the MET 2026 application form process. Candidates can now apply for MET 2026 until the final date, i.e., March 15, 2026. MET 2026 exam dates will be soon announced. The authorities will conduct MET 2026 in two phases as a computer-based test at various centres. For the admit card, the candidates will have to complete their MET 2026 slot booking process. The scores secured in the exam will be announced through the MET 2026 result. Q:   Is the MET mock test released officially?
A: 

Yes, the Manipal authorities release the MET mock test official to help the students prepare for the exam. The link to access the MET mock test will be available at manipal.edu. All students who want to participate in the MET admission process can access and practice using the mock test.

Q:   How can I check my MET result?
A: 

MET result will be released online. To check result, students will have to log in with email address and password. No other mode will be used to declare MET result.

Q:   What are the steps to check the MET seat allotment result?
A: 

MET seat allotment result is announced online. To check seat allotment, students will have to log in with their required details. MET seat allotment status will be available on screen.

Q:   What is the MET slot booking date?
A: 

MET 2026 slot booking dates have been announced. For Phase 1 exam, MET slot booking facility will be available online from March 31 to April 2, 2026. Students will have to log in and book their preferred MET exam slots before final date. Phase 2 slot booking will be open from May 9 to 11, 2026.

Q:   Will the MET application form be available offline?
A: 

No offline MET application form will be available. Students will have to access the MET application form online and fill it out with the required details .The application fee has to be paid online and submitted. The authorities will not accept print outs of the filled application form.

Q:   How is the MET merit list prepared?
A: 

The authorities will prepare the MET merit list to select students for admissions into the courses offered by the participating institutes. The performance of the students will be assessed to prepare the MET merit list. Separate merit lists will be prepared for different categories.

Q:   What are the MET seat allotment dates?
A: 

MET 2026 seat allotment result dates will be announced soon. To check seat allotment, candidates will have to log in with required details. Allotment will be done according to candidate's rank and preferences. Separate allotment results will be released for different counselling rounds.

A good score in MET will depend on which course and campus the candidates wish to apply for. However, overall the candidates should score 110+ marks out of 240 marks to get a good chance of admission.

There are no minimum marks required to qualify MET exam. However, candidates have to meet minimum eligibility marks in 12th class for admissions.

MAHE has not changed MET eligibility criteria. Candidates can check official eligibility criteria online before filling application form. Ineligible candidates will be not be considered for admission.

Admissions are not guaranteed to students if MET cutoff is met. Since other factors are also involved in allotment, just meeting cutoff may not be enough. However, it will give them higher chances of admission into their preferences.
