Is Aadhaar Card mandatorily required for MET application form 2026?

During MET registration, details of Aadhaar card were not mandatorily required from students. They were able to complete registration using mobile number and email ID. However, during the exam and counselling stages, students had to carry valid government issued photo ID as proof.  For verification of identity, students could use any valid photograph ID proof such as Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, School ID, etc. Aadhaar number was not a necessary detail required for registration, but students could keep it ready in case it is needed.

• Payment of Fee: Finally, for MET application fee payment, students had to use their net banking, credit card or debit card details. Details required were according to chosen mode of payment.

After MET registration, MAHE authorities will open slot booking process. Through MET slot booking, students can choose their preferred exam slots according to availability. After slots are booked, MET admit card will be available for download. Through hall ticket, they can check their allotted exam centre, date, slots and more. How to Book MET 2026 Exam Slots

Candidates can follow given steps to book their MET exam slots 2026.

• Candidates will have to go to official website.
• To log in, candidates will have to enter their MET 2026 application form number and OTBS Password, i.e., their date of birth in format of DDMMYYYY. After logging in, they will be able to change their passwords as per their preference.
• They will have to verify their details displayed on the screen. After verification, candidates have to select their preferred test city.
• Preferred slot from available ones have to be selected.
• Candidates will have to press 'OK' to proceed. Click on 'Confirm' to book slot or 'Cancel' to resume.

MET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before registration, candidates can check MET eligibility criteria 2026. Ineligible candidates will not be considered for admission.

BTech Courses - Candidates should have qualified 10+2, A-Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional subjects with a minimum of 50% mark taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.

Lateral BTech - 3 years Diploma in Engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government or passed BSc Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks and passed Xll standard with Mathematics as a subject.
