SRMJEEE 2026 Counselling: The exam body, SRMIST, conducts the SRMJEEE 2026 counselling after its results are declared. Candidates who qualify per the SRMJEEE result 2026 will be able to participate in the counselling process. The counselling process of SRMJEEE includes choice filling, seat acceptance, seat allotment, issuance of the provisional admission letter (PAL) and payment of the tuition fee. For online counselling, candidates are informed through email or text messages.
To participate in SRMJEEE counselling 2026 in online mode (SRM counselling), candidates have to register and pay the required fee. The SRMJEEE cut off varies college wise and course wise. So just to give you an idea, in 2020 students who obtained marks above 250 had an expected rank range below 2000, while those who obtained marks between 230-250 had an expected rank range of 2001-5000 etc. Similarly the marks redacted, their rankings to be reduced. Top ranked students received the best college and course which they applied during their choice filling.
As of now there are no dates as to when the SRMJEEE result will be declared. However, the results are generally declared after the exam is successfully conducted for the specific phase.

SRMJEEE Counselling Process 2026
The counselling process of SRMJEEE includes the following steps:
Login to the portal: The candidate has to login to the application portal through the link applications.srmist.edu.in/btech
Rank card download: Candidates can download the rank card through the mentioned online admission portal (OAP).
Educational detail filling: Candidates have to fill in the educational details.
Choice filling (Program Selection): The Online Admission Portal (OAP) will be kept open for the candidates to fill in the choice of campus and programme preference.
Programme allocation: The admission committee will allot the choice of campus, programme and specialisation based on the admission criteria such as SRM Joint Entrance Examination Rank, Qualifying Examination, etc. The programme allotment will be published in the Online Admission Portal (OAP).
This is how the SRMJEEE 2026 seat allotment result looks like
Accept the Allocation and Payment (Only for allotted Candidates): Candidates have to accept the allotment and have to pay the one-time non-refundable and non-transferrable registration fee and the counselling fee (part of the tuition fee). Online payment details will be updated shortly.
Provisional Allotment letter downloads: Upon payment of the registration fee and counselling fee, a Provisional allotment letter and fee receipt will be issued. Failure to pay the counselling fee within the stipulated time will lead to the cancellation of the allotment. )
Payment of balance tuition fee and online enrolment: Pay the balance tuition fee before the mentioned date and proceed with online enrolment.
Please note that admissions to any of SRMIST’s campuses will be subject to:
- Satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria as stipulated by the respective institutions
- All India Rank of the candidate
- Production of all original certificates and other documents listed below for verification
- Payment of Registration and full tuition fees

Yes, there is a scholarship provision in the SRMJEEE exam. They have also mentioned this in their official website. As per the scholarships, there is a 25 to 100 percent scholarship available for students. The scholarship differs based on rank based on merit as well as founder's scholarships. For detailed scholarships, students can visit the official website of SRMIST.
The SRMJEEE course fees vary as per the course which candidates join, for example, if you get selected for B.Tech course from Delhi-NCR, your fees will range from 7 Lacs to 12 lakh. You can add another 4-5 Lacs for hostel charges. The fees also depend on the specialisation of the course as well as the branch.
According to the SRMJEEE admisison process, first candidates need to visit the official website - applications.srmist.edu.in/btech. Fill in the application form, pay the prescribed application fee and download the admit card to appear in the exam. After that, the results will be declared and candidates qualified in the exam will have to appear for the counselling process, post which they will be allotted the courses and the colleges.
