RRB Group D dates 2025 will be conducted from November 17 to December end.. The exam dates carries the important events related to the exam such as the application dates, result dates, admit card dates, etc. Candidates should keep the important dates handy so that they do not miss out any important event related to the exam.

RRB Group D exam is conducted for the level 1 posts in Indian Railways. The selection process includes Computer Based Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification and Medical Exam. The year-wise total recruitment done through RRB Group D is given below.

RRB Group D exam is conducted in three shifts. The exam for the morning shift begins at 9 am. The exam for second shift starts at 12.45 pm. The exam for the third shift starts at 5 pm. The details related to RRB Group D shift timings are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates need to reach the exam centre as per the timings mentioned on the admit card. The shift timings of RRB Group D exam are given below.

RRB Group D selection process comprises CBT, PET/PST, Document Verification and Medical Exam. The PET/PST is qualifying in nature. Though PET/PST is qualifying in nature, candidates are required to clear it. There is weightage of marks for this stage. The final selection of candidates is done based on CBT provided they qualify PET/PST, medical exam and document verification. Medical exam is conducted by the railway hospitals.

To prepare for RRB Group D exam, candidates need to go through the exam pattern and syllabus. Candidates must choose the right study material for the exam. They should attempt mock tests and solve the previous years' question papers. Make a habit of studying for at least three or four hours a day. The tips and tricks to prepare for RRB Group D exam are given below:

• Candidates must first go through the exam pattern and syllabus thoroughly
• It is important to practice mock tests as this helps in analysing the preparation for the exam as well as in improving speed and accuracy
• Candidates must practice previous years' question papers to know what kind of questions are asked in the exam
• Candidates should focus on revising the important topics for the exam

RRB Group D admit card is released four days before the exam. The steps to download RRB Group D admit card are given below:

• Visit the region-wise official websites of RRBs
• Click 'RRB Group D admit card' link on the home page
• Enter user ID and password
• The admit card appears on the screen
• Download the admit card and take its printout

 

RRB Group D notification 2025 was released by the Railway Recruitment Boards. The notification was released in PDF form and comprises the details related to the exam. The selection process of RRB Group D comprises Computer Based Test,  Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification and Medical Exam. CCAAs trained in railway establishment are given due weightage of marks obtained in NCVT for preparation of the final merit list. They are also exempted from PET/PST.

RRB Group D application status will be released soon by RRBs. Candidates can check their application status by logging with the required credentials. The application status displays whether the application form of candidates are accepted or rejected for the recruitment exam. Those whose RRB Group D application forms are accepted are issued admit card for appearing in the exam.

RRB Group D application form 2025 was released on January 23, 2025 by the Railway Recruitment Boards. RRB Group D application form should be filled online only. The application fee is INR 500 (for all candidates except the fee concession categories). The fee for PwBD/Female /Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class is INR 250. Candidates can pay the fee both online and offline. Candidates are not required to sent the hard copy of the application form.

The CBT of RRB Group D comprises questions from General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness and Current Affairs. The syllabus is given below: Mathematics: HCF and LCM, Ratio & Proportion, Mensuration Time & Distance, Profit & Loss, BODMAS, Percentages, Time & Work, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Age Calculations General Science: Topics from Physics Chemistry and Life Sciences General Intelligence and Reasoning: Coding-Decoding, Relationships, Alphabetical Series, Venn Diagram, Statement and Conclusion, Numerical Series, Distance, and Directions. General Awareness and Current Affairs. Indian History, Sports, Current Affairs. Events, important days and events.
