RRB Group D 2025: Application Status OUT, Exam Dates, Admit Card, Syllabus & Pattern

RRB Group D is a national-level exam conducted by the RRBs on behalf of the Railway Recruitment Cells (RRC). It is an excellent career opportunity after Class 10 who wish to join the Indian Railways. The recruitment is conducted to select candidates for the various posts in Level-1 of the seventh CPC pay matrix, such as Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical, and S&T departments), Assistant Pointsman, and many more.

RRB Group D CBT hall ticket is released four days before the exam. The call letter for CBT is released for candidates who register successfully for the exam. The download link will be provided on this page. You can download admit cards by logging with the required credentials. Group D admit card is an important document without which candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam.

RRB Group D Exam Pattern

The paper pattern is such that it comprises CBT, Document Verification, and Medical exam. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. Selected students of CBT will appear for PET/PST, Document Verification and Medical exam. Railway Group D exam pattern of CBT is given below.

RRB Group D Mock test

The official  Group D mock test is released by the examination authority before the exam. Take the mock test by logging into their accounts with a user ID and password. Students need to analyse their preparations for the exam.

A total of 32438 Railway Group D vacancies were announced for the exam. In the last notification, a total of 1,03,769 vacancies were announced for the exam.

RRB Group D application status released. Check application form status by logging with the required credentials.This indicates whether your application is accepted or rejected. The application fee is INR 500 (for all expect the fee concession categories). The fee for PwBD/ Female /Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen and SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class is INR 250. The fee is refunded after candidates appear in the CBT.

Steps to Apply Online

 Visit the official website-http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/

• Click on the ‘New Registration’ link
•  Register for the exam by entering details such as name, date of birth and father’s name, mother’s name, Aadhaar Number, SSLC/Matric registration number, year of passing, mobile number, email ID and then submit the registration form
• Upon registration, registration number and password are generated
•  In Part I of the application page, provide the details of educational qualification, community, gender, religion, Ex-Servicemen, CCAA, Minority, Economically Backward Class and Age Relaxation and other details
• In Part II of the application page, enter the priority/preference of the RRB Group D posts
• Pay the application fees using Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI and Offline Challan
• Choose the exam languages
•  Fill in details of photo ID card
• Enter bank details for a fee refund
• Upload scanned documenbts
• Submit the form

The selection process comprises single-stage CBT, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), document verification, and medical examination. Candidates qualifying the CBT are called for PET. Based on the performance in CBT and PET, students are called for document verification and medical exam.
