SAT India registration window is open. The steps that aspirants need to follow to register for SAT India are mentioned below:

Step 1: Get SAT and SAT Subject Tests Student Registration Guide at: https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/sat/registration/international-testing

Step 2: Fill the registration form included in the guide and place it in the return envelope which is also part of the guide.

Step 3: Pay application fee through Demand Draft/ Cheque

Step 4: Send the duly filled registration form

For SAT India 2026, the local representative is USIEF. All the registration form mails for SAT India are sent to their regional office.

Ensure that the below-mentioned documents are handy:

• An acceptable photo
• A means to pay the registration fee
• A clergy letter (if applicable)
• A fee waiver card (if applicable)

When filling SAT India application form by mail, candidates need to enter the College Board code for their high school or the home-school code (970000) along with their test centre code. Apart from this, candidates also need to enter codes of the colleges in which they want to secure admission along with codes for college majors and scholarships

The photo to be included in SAT India application form by mail needs to be of the below-mentioned specifications:

• Should be of 2x2 inches (minimum) to 2.5x3 inches (maximum)
• Should not be an ID card or laminated photo
• Should have name, high school code and date of birth written on the reverse side
• Should be taped over the barcode with a clear tape
• Should gave full-face view
• Should be recently taken

Step 3: Make a College Board Account

Next, aspirants are advised to create a College Board account by providing details such as their name, gender, date of birth, email ID, address, phone number, username and password.

Step 4: Create a student profile

Creating a student profile requires aspirants to provide details such as College Board programmes, GPA/ Rank, coursework, activities and college plans. This may be a little time-consuming, but it is useful to students as, through this information, scholarship organisations and colleges can find them easily.

Step 5: Select SAT India Test Date & Centre

Further, Students need to select the date on which they want to take the SAT India 2026, along with selecting the test centre where they want to appear for the exam. Here, Students also need to select whether they want to give only the SAT India or the subject tests as well.

Students need to ensure that they upload their photographs with the SAT India application form as per the specifications mentioned by the exam authorities. The photo needs to be in any of these formats – jpg, gif or png. The dimension of the photograph should be such that it should be a minimum of 325 pixels, and a maximum size would be 390 pixels.

Step 7: Pay the SAT India 2026 application form

Students need to note that the registration fee for the SAT India cannot be paid in cash. Aspirants can pay the registration fee for SAT India 2026 by any of the following means:

• Credit Card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, JCB and Diners Club.
• PayPal
• Money Order or Cheque: These need to be payable to "The College Board" such that the cheque is drawn from a US bank. Any cheque that is not drawn from a US bank will be returned.
• Bank Draft

Step 8: Check out and print the SAT India Admission Ticket

The final step of SAT India registration requires Students to click on the ‘Checkout’ button and thereafter view and download their SAT India 2026 admit card.
