For Information Technology, the cutoff must range between 250 and 675, for B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, the cutoff must range between 540 and 637. For B.Tech. in Information Technology (Business Informatics), the cutoff must range between 580 and 1145 for General category All India candidates. IIIT Allahabad has a strong research culture and offers research opportunities in various fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Information Technology. The institute also has collaborations with several industries and research organisations. Only candidates who have successfully completed their respective professional degree programmes or are enrolled in their last year or semester are eligible to apply for research programmes at IIIT Allahabad.
