UPCATET Analysis 2025: Get Detailed Paper Analysis & Review

The exam anaysis of UPCATET 2024 includes the marking scheme, total number of questions, examination pattern, syllabus of the exam, type of questions asked in exam, pattern of questions asked in the exam.

Applicants while filling their application form will be given four choice, PCB, PCM, PAG, and PHS. Students will have to choose any of this choice in the form as per their education qualification. They will be given paper of their choice in the UPCATET exam. There will be no change in the examination hall for any paper under any cicrumstances hence applicants must choose carefully while filling the form. 

Candidates will be given admission to the similar course for which they have appeared in the exam. There will be 200 questions in exam out of them 20 questions will be from General Knowledge topic and rest 180 will be from the group for which they have applied.  

Here is a general overview of the typical format and types of questions candidates can expect in the UPCATET exam:

1. Mode of Examination: UPCATET is usually conducted in a pen-and-paper (offline) mode, where candidates mark their answers on an OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheet.

2. Types of Questions: The question paper typically consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Around 200 questions are being asked in the examination.

3. Subjects and Sections: The examination covers multiple subjects or sections related to agriculture, horticulture, forestry, and allied fields. The specific subjects and sections may vary depending on the course for which the candidate is applying. Common sections include:

   • Agriculture
   • Horticulture
   • Forestry
   • Agricultural Engineering
   • Home Science
   • Veterinary Science (if applicable)
   • Other relevant subjects

4. Question Distribution: The number of questions and distribution of marks may vary based on the course. For instance, a B.Sc. Agriculture paper may have a different question distribution than a B.Sc. Horticulture paper.

5. Marking Scheme: Each correct answer is typically awarded a certain number of marks, and there may be a negative marking system where marks are deducted for incorrect answers. The exact marking scheme may vary from year to year.

Candidates preparing for UPCATET should carefully review the official examination guidelines and syllabus provided by the conducting body and focus their preparation accordingly. Additionally, practicing previous years' question papers and mock tests can be helpful in getting a better understanding of the exam format and types of questions commonly asked.

The validity of the UPCATET result is only considered for those candidates who qualify for the exam. The validity of UPCATET results will be valid for one year. Applicants need to use their score card to appear in the counseling for their respective courses in the same year only. After the completion of one year, students will be able to appear with a different scorecard. 

The exam conducting authorities will release the result as well as the score card of applicants in online mode only. Candidates who have appeared in the exam can check the below-mentioned details in their score card:

• Candidate's Name

• Candidate's Roll No.

• Qualifying Status

• Individual and total passing marks

• Rank of candidate

Applicants who have secured the minimum passing marks will be declared qualified in the UPCATET exam and must participate in further process. 

Applicants who qualify the UPCATET exam for the respective courses for which they have applied further need to appear in counselling. Applicants need to join counselling process possess the following items i.e Mobile phone, email id, date of birth, roll number and scanned copy of documents. 

The process of counselling includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, uploading of document, document verification, dowloading of allotment letter and last admission process of the allotted universities.

The results of UPCATET 2024 will be declared around a month after the commencement of the exam. According to the previous year's dates, UPCATET results may be released in June 2024. The exact dates of the exam, result & counseling will be mentioned in the official notification only.

The authorities might release the official notification of UPCATET in March 2024.  Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya will declare the results in online mode only.  Applicants can check their results by entering the login credentials i.e. Registration number and password.
