Candidates aspiring to pursue Bachelor of Arts in LLB from Jamia Millia Islamia will firstly have to appear for the JMI BA LLB entrance exam. Selecting law as a career after class XII, students need to be well prepared, up to date and should have the mindset in order to ace the entrance test and get admission in the university. The renowned varsity offers five-year integrated law programmes where out of the 120 seats, 60 are self-financed.

JMI BA LLB Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are interested in pursuing a course in BA LLB, need to meet the JMI eligibility criteria in order to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university. The criteria are as follows:

  • The candidate needs to have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
  • The candidate needs to have secured a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2.
  • The candidate should not be more than 20 years of age (general category). For SC/ST, the aspirant should not be more than 22 years of age.

Candidates appearing for the JMI BA LLB entrance exam need to know the following steps:

Step 1: The candidate should know the JMI BA LLB syllabus thoroughly.

Step 2: The aspirant should understand the JMI exam pattern and marking scheme. On knowing how the answers need to be written, the candidate should then prepare accordingly.
