I’m quite satisfied because of the infrastructure and diversity.
Placements: Well, I am pursuing a B.A. Hons Sociology, so not many of my batchmates sit for placements, and most of them are giving CAT or CUET-PG for Masters, but the placements for commerce-based sources are great, many of my friends got places in Big Four. But even if you are doing socio, you can sit for placements by joining the placement cell of our college.
Infrastructure: Well, the infrastructure is one of the best in DU, with the cleanest washrooms I've come across in DU. A new library with computers has also opened, which is pretty cool. We have Wi-Fi in the library, but not in our entire college, and the network connection is pretty weak. Hostel facilities are pretty decent but only available for girls.
Faculty: Teachers are well-read, and they take regular classes, and are well-versed in their field. The course syllabus is pretty relevant too, we have IA and CA assignments and tests instead of midterms, and exams are pretty fine too, not too hard, one can make do even if they study few days prior.

Hindu college- Value for money.
Placements: Generally, the placement record of Hindu College is very good because companies like Wipro, TCS, and LG come for campus placement. Mainly 60 to 70 percent of students are able to grab the placement. Also, companies like LIC and Internshala come for internship, as many students want to do internships. The median package offered by the company lies between 6 to 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel is only available for male students with the facility of free Wi-Fi, hygienic food, a bathroom, a balcony, a hostel library, and a hostel cyber cafe. Also, the hostel provides free medical facilities for all hostellers, but you have to pay a monthly medical fee, which is very minimal.
Faculty: Faculty members are well trained and very friendly; most of them are Ph.D. holders and belong to many prestigious organizations. Our college is following the NEP curriculum, where students can study anything that they want. Exams are conducted twice a year on a semester basis, and semester exams are moderately difficult.

The college is damn good and you will get a great opportunity .
Placements: The highest package would be 5–6 lacs and the lowest would be 3 lacs. Internships are frequent and the companies will hire you if you are qualified and meet their expectations. The percentage of students placed in my course is average but my course is one of the most popular courses at Delhi University.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one of the best; the auditorium is damn good; the ground is good and quite large; if you are into any outdoor sports, then it would be beneficial to you a lot; the classes are quite big, but there is no facility for speakers in the classes .
Faculty: Teachers are quite arrogant but they are qualified and the syllabus only relies on modules provided by the college stationary; they will provide the reading and just go through them, but on YouTube, you will not get the content of my course because of NEP policy .
Other: I have chosen this because I do want to know this society in depth .

Our college has the best infrastructure.
Infrastructure: The boys' hostel is under renovation. The infrastructure of the girls' hostel is quite good. All facilities are very good. All hostels are on our campus. Students can access everything from the hostel. It is a good place to stay.
Faculty: All teachers are phenomenal. They are very experienced. They help you with anything. They are very supportive.
Other: The crowd is the best. Many students went for higher studies.

Our college is the oldest for arts and sciences.
Placements: Placement percentage is 95%. Some recruiting companies are Google, Deloitte, HDFC, KPMG, Maruti, Jaypee, Ernst and Young, DE Shaw, Essar, and Royal Sundaram Alliance. It organises various seminars and workshops related to our careers.
Infrastructure: It has a big 2 floors library, canteen, sports complex, facility of photocopy and books shop. It has an SBI branch outside. Hostel is the center of academic, social, and cultural activities. College provides residential facilities for about two hundred undergraduate and postgraduate boys.
Faculty: Principal Anju Srivastava and other professors are excellent. Students applying for admission should have obtained at least an aggregate of 40% marks and students applying for admission into master's degree courses should have obtained at least an aggregate of 55% marks in the previous qualifying examinations.

Our college has a lot of spaces to hangout.
Placements: Placements are low. Companies conduct interviews for the 3rd year to recruit them but the number of students selected is very low like 5 to 6. The average salary package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are DE shaw, Brain, and Deloitte. Internship opportunities are available.
Infrastructure: There are air-conditioners in classrooms. There is Wi-Fi and a good library. They haven't opened the hostel for boys. There is one temporary canteen with good food. Girls hostel is open with facilities as it is a new hostel. College is active in sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and most of them are active in society. Students are very much satisfied with the department. Teachers take efforts to make students understand. There are no advanced topics. First-year curriculum is perfect as it allows students from other streams to understand Sociology and love the subject. Semester exams are not easy.
Other: I chose this course because I want to know more about how society works and the diversity of people. Sociology department is very active. There will be many programs conducted in the college. There will be many guest speeches, parties, and fests. Annual fest Mecca is excited.

Overall, it is a good college if we can balance the social and academic life well.
Placements: Hindu College offers various placements according to the course you undertake. The majority of the placement goes with the economic honors students. We get a wide range of opportunities to excel ourselves, and a lot of internships are also available for every course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is awesome. There is a huge library in the college with a wide variety of books. There is a Hindu parliament for the discussion. We also have a newly opened Hindu Theatre which is the main attraction for the viewers and contains a science laboratory.
Faculty: The teaching quality is excellent. Teachers are well-qualified and it depends on us how much we take from them. The curriculum is relevant to the current days. We get extra hours to explore the college. The exams are a bit tough but if we prepare well we get them passed.
Other: I chose sociology honors because of my interest in studying modern society. All the courses have their significance but political science has more demand. Events in the college are great to have fun. We connect with a number of people. Our college also gives scholarships for the needed and we can participate in extracurricular activities by taking part in different societal activities.

I am absolutely satisfied with our college.
Placements: I am not sure whether students from our course get placed or not. However, many students get opportunities abroad through AUS and other places and also get admission to foreign universities. But the disappointing thing is only a few students get these opportunities. I don't know much about the companies that hire students from here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is beautiful. The best part here is there are air-conditioners in our classrooms, which are basically installed by raising funds from students. However, it is fine. Wi-Fi is a bit weak on the campus. Otherwise, the overall infrastructure is superb.
Faculty: Faculty members here contain a group of intellectual people who have done their PhDs from well-known universities and are very cooperative. The course is very relevant as they have included the syllabus very nicely. Semester exams are not difficult, but only the disappointing thing is that my course is not very scoring. The pass percentage is 5 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because I think this course has a lot of scopes. But this course was a backup from me, but it's worth it. The best thing about my course is that it is totally different from what I studied in 12th standard because 12th was very basic. However, here the syllabus is huge and contains a lot. There is no need to improve anything. The campus crowd and fests are the best part of college life.
