National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test 2026 ( NIMCET )
The NIMCET 2026 result will be announced at nimcet.admissions.nic.in. by around the last week of June 2026. Candidates will be able to access the NIMCET 2026 result online by logging in using their required credentials. The authorities will not use any alternative method to release the NIMCET results. The scores and ranks obtained in the entrance examination will be checked through the NIMCET result. Candidates will be able to download the result in the form of an NIMCET 2026 scorecard. The NIMCET 2026 result will be announced online. The candidates will be able to access the NIMCET result 2026 by following the given steps.
- Go to nimcet.admissions.nic.in
- Click on the result link.
- Provide their User ID and password.
- Click on 'Sign In'
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the result in the form of a scorecard for future use.

NIMCET 2026 Result - Qualifying Criteria
Candidates will be declared qualified by obtaining the minimum qualifying marks set by the conducting authority. All qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the NIMCET 2026 counselling and seat allotment procedure. Based on the marks secured by candidates in the exam, a rank will be allotted by following the criteria given below:
- The marks secured in Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and English will be multiplied by a factor of 3, 1½, 2 and 1 respectively.
- Thus maximum weighted marks will be 1000.
- The ranking will be based on the total weighted marks obtained by an aspirant.
- In case of a tie, it will be resolved based on weighted marks in Mathematics, then on weighted marks in Logical Reasoning and then on weighted marks in Computer Awareness.
- In case the tie is not resolved by the criteria stated in the above paragraph, then it will be resolved by age i.e., in favour of the older candidate.

The eligibility criteria for NIMCET are as follows -
