KLEE LLM Application Form 2026: Fees & How to Apply

The last date to fill out the KLEE 2026 application form will be released soon.

There is no lower age limit for admission to the 3-year or 5-year LLB programme. The upper age limit for admission both the LLB Programme will be subject to the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. In case if age restriction under clause 28 of Legal Education Rules, 2008 of Bar Council of India is reinstated, only those candidates within the stipulated age limit will be allowed to appear for the Entrance Examination. 

The CEE Kerala examination board will conduct the KLEE LLM 2026 exam tentatively in August 2026 in a computer based mode at the designated centres across the state. 

Candidates who are pursuing the last year of their qualifying exam, i.e. graduation degree can apply for the KLEE LLM entrance exam. The prerequisite for the applcation is that the candidates must have their qualifying exam marksheet or provisional result during the counselling process. 

The Kerala Law Entrance Exam 2026 application form for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes will be released on the official website of CEE Kerala, cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates need to note that the KLEE 2026 application form forms for 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB, and LLM courses are different. There is no provision of the application correction window for KLEE application form. Thus, once candidates submit the KLEE application form, they will not be able to edit it. Thus, while filling out the KLEE application form candidates need to be very careful and need to consider the following points to avoid mistakes in filling out the form: 

• Refer to your original documents and enter details accordingly. 
• Always enter your name, parents' names, date of birth and other crucial details according to your official documents such as, voter ID, Aadhar Card, and HSC admit card. 
• Cross-check all the details twice that you enter and then submit the form. 

The KLEE LLM admit card will have the following details mentioned on it:

• Candidate's name
• Category of the candidate
• Course name opted for
• Parent's name
• Name/ Address of the examination centre

Candidates must carefully check their KLEE LLM admit card 2026 when it is released and report to the concerned examination cell for any errors. 

The KLEE LLM 2026 admit card will be released online a few days before the exam. The admit card for the LLM programme entrance exam will be issued through the online portal/ KLEE Official website. The candidates will have to mandatorily carry the KLEE LLM admit card to examination hall to avoid the rejection from entrance to the examination hall. 

The Kerala Law Entrance Exam admission process is filling the KLEE application form, downloading the admit card, appearing in the KLEE exam, checking results, and appearing in the KLEE counselling process.

KLEE Entrance Exam is conducted for admission to 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB, and LLM in Kerala's government law colleges and government merit seats in private self-financing law colleges.

The Entrance Examination for admission to the LLM curse is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The Questions of the Entrance Examination is of objective type. The questions shall be of the standard of LLB Examination. The LLM paper has 2 parts - part A and part B. There are a total of 200 questions in the exam. Part A has 100 questions and part 2 has 100 questions. Part A has 4 sections and Part B has 6 sections.

Part A on KLEE LLM syllabus has the following topics: 

• Jurisprudence
• Constitutional Law
• Law of Crimes
• Law of Contract

Part B of KLEE:

In Part B of KLEE syllabus for LLM, the following topics are included: 

• Public International Law
• Administrative Law
• Law of Property
• Company Law
• Interpretation of statutes
• Law of Torts

KLEE question paper consists of multiple choice questions (MCQs) for 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB and LLM programmes. Students have to select the correct answers among the multiple choices. They can skip questions if they do not know their answers. It is advised to attempt all questions because no negative marking is done. The option of marking for review is also available for questions in the KLEE question paper. Candidates can answer these questions later before clicking on the submit or end exam button.

The KLEE 2026 result for 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB and LLM courses will be released on the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates will be able to download their KLEE result as a scorecard. The KLEE scorecard will contain important details about your performance in the Kerala Law Entrance Examination. The following details will be mainly mentioned on your KLEE scorecard:

• Candidate's Name
• Roll Number (used during the exam)
• Registration Number (assigned during application)

The KLEE 2026 counseling will begin after the KLEE results, and the selected candidates will appear for the counseling process. KLEE counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds.
