The TS PGLCET syllabus 2026 has been provided by the examination body, Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Hyderabad. Candidates preparing for the exam are advised to carefully read the LLM entrance exam syllabus. The TS PGLCET question paper will be divided into two parts, namely  Part A (Jurisprudence & Constitutional Law) and Part B (Public International Law, Mercantile Law, etc.). Read the syllabus carefully to draft a preparation strategy. The TS PGLCET exam was held on May 18, 2026. It is important for the aspirants to be aware of all the topics expected in the exam.

Q:   Can I take TS PGLCET in Telugu?
A: 

Candidates will not be allowed to take the TS PGLCET exam in Telugu language. The TS PGLCET exam will have to be attempted in English language only. The questions, guidelines and MCQ type questions will all be asked in English only. Candidates may opt for other national level entrance exams which have the option for students to attempt their paper in other language as well.

TS PGLCET 2026 Pattern

TS PGLCET exam pattern is as follows-

Exam mode - Online mode/ Computer-based test mode

Test duration - 1 hour 30 minutes

Total subjects - Five law subjects

Test medium - English only

Type of questions - Multiple-choice questions

Total questions - 120 questions

Total marks - 120 marks

Marking scheme will be as under:

  • One mark for each correct answer.
  • No negative marking will be done in case of wrong attempts.

No, students cannot get admission to LLB degree courses through TS PGLCET. This exam is held for admission to PG (LLM) courses only.

No, candidates will have to complete TG PGLCET 2026 counselling registration process online. Counselling form for LLM admission is available at lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in.

The Telangana Council of Higher Education has extended TG PGLCET Counselling 2026 registration last date. Candidates can now register for admission to LLM programs up to August 15. Visit lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in for counselling registration.
