TS PGLCET question paper 2027: The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) will conduct the TS PGLCET exam. Students seeking admission to Master of Laws (LLM) programmes must solve TG PGLCET previous year question papers for better preparation. TGCHE will conduct the TS PGLCET exam tentatively in May. Solving previous year question papers of Telangana PGLCET 2027 exam will help students to track the latest paper structure.

The TS PGLCET 2027 question paper will consist of questions carrying 120 marks. Candidates will have 90 minutes to solve question paper of TS PGLCET with Part A and Part B. Part A will have 40 questions focused on critical jurisprudence and constitutional laws. Meanwhile, Part B will have 80 questions testing mercantile law, public international law, and intellectual property rights. Q:   What are the important topics for TS PGLCET 2027 exam?

In TS PGLCET exam, questions will be asked from the Law subjects including Jurisprudence, Constitutinal Law, Public International Law, Mercantile Law, Labour Law, Criminal Law & Torts, IPR & Other Laws. 

Q:   Can I take TS PGLCET in Telugu?
A: 

Candidates will not be allowed to take the TS PGLCET exam in Telugu language. The TS PGLCET exam will have to be attempted in English language only. The questions, guidelines and MCQ type questions will all be asked in English only. Candidates may opt for other national level entrance exams which have the option for students to attempt their paper in other language as well. 

Q:   What is the exam date for TS PGLCET 2027?

Q:   What is the marking scheme for TS PGLCET 2027?
A: 

Students will get 1 mark each for every correct answer in TS PGLCET 2027. The question paper has two parts. Part A carries 40 marks and Part B weighs for 80 marks. The total marks for the exam is 120.

Q:   Are non-local candidates eligible for TS PGLCET?
A: 

Non-locals or candidates who do not belong to Telangana can apply for TS PGLCET. However, they need to make sure to meet exam eligibility criteria. The criteria are mentioned below: 

TS PGLCET Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
  • Candidates must have completed a 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB degree. 
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of their 3-year/5-year LLB degree can also apply for TS PGLCET 2025. These candidates need their final marksheet at the time of TS PGLCET counselling. The minimum marks requirement in the qualifying exam (LLB exam) must be met by them.
Qualifying Marks
  • The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% (i.e. 30 marks out of total 120 marks).
  • For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed. 
Age Limit
  • There is no age limit to apply for TS PGLCET.
Q:   What can you study if you clear TS PGLCET?

If a student clears TG PGLCET Exam, he/she can get admitted to the LLM programme by Osmania University, Hyderabad. The university conducts the exam on behalf of Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), Hyderabad. Through TS PGLCET, candidates get admission to state universities in Telangana, including their affiliated colleges.

No, students cannot get admission to LLB degree courses through TS PGLCET. This exam is held for admission to PG (LLM) courses only.

No, candidates will have to complete TG PGLCET 2026 counselling registration process online. Counselling form for LLM admission is available at lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in.
