AP LAWCET Syllabus 2026 - The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) provides the details about the syllabus for AP LAWCET through the exam notification on the official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The syllabus for AP LAWCET 2026 will be provided here.

To prepare for AP LAWCET, candidates only need to cover the topics that are included in the syllabus. Knowing the AP LAWCET syllabus will also help the candidates to understand the structure of the AP LAWCET question paper. The AP LAWCET 2026 question paper will have three sections - General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the Study of Law. These three sections will contribute a total of 120 multiple-choice questions, of which the Aptitude for the Study of Law alone contribute 60 questions. So the candidate needs to put more attention to the section. The difficulty level of the questions asked in the AP LAWCET 2026 exam will be of Class 12 level for the five-year integrated LLB course and graduate level for the three-year LLB course. Q:   What is the syllabus for Andhra Pradesh LAWCET?
A: 

The syllabus for Andhra Pradesh LAWCET covers the following three important sections as follows:

  • Aptitude for the Study of Law: This section asks questions on legal terms, concepts, contract, torts, etc.
  • Current Affairs and Mental Ability: This section has questions from history, geography, economic, science and technology, etc.
  • General Knowledge: This section covers important topics from national and international importance, economics trends, legal current affairs, etc.
Q:   How many questions are asked in Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam?
A: 

Total 120 objective-type questions are asked in the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam. These 120 questions are divided into three sections. These sections are General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the Law Study. The marks distribution for each section is different. General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for Law Study contain 30, and 60 marks, respectively. As a result, the Aptitude for Law Strudy section carries the most weightage in the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam.
