Admission to the BA LLB courses offered by Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will be through the CUET UG 2023 exam scores. Check eligibility for appearing in the exam.

BHU UET Eligibility Criteria - Banaras Hindu University (BHU) offers a BA LLB program that has a minimum intake of 37 seats and a maximum intake of 74 seats. Admission to the BA LLB program will be based on CUET UG 2023 exam scores. Consequently, the BHU UET entrance exam is no longer conducted.

The application form for the CUET UG 2023 exam for BA LLB will open in the 1st week of February 2023. 

To be considered for admission to the BA LLB program, the candidate needs to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university, including that of academic qualification.

The CUET UG 2023 exam will be conducted in online, computer-based mode from May 21-31, 2023. Typically the CUET UG exam is conducted in multiple phases.

The candidate is allowed to appear in multiple subject combinations in the entrance exam.

Qualifying exam

BA (Hons) Arts

Passed 10+2 with 50% marks in the aggregate

BPEd

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline 50% marks in the aggregate

Bachelor Degree in Physical Education with 45% marks in the aggregate

Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with and studied Physical Education as compulsory/elective subject with 45% marks in the aggregate

Bachelor’s Degree and having participated in National or State or Inter-University competition or secured 1st, 2nd or 3 rd position in Inter College/Inter-Zonal/District/School competition in Sports and games with 45% marks in the aggregate

Bachelor's Degree with participation in International competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National/Inter-University competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federations/ AIU/ IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India

 

Graduation and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in service candidates, i.e., trained physical education teachers/coaches) with 45% marks in the aggregate

BVoc (All courses)

Passed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream or level 4 NSQF certificate or any other equivalent examination with 50% marks in the aggregate

BA (Hons) Social Science

Passed 10+2 with 50% marks in the aggregate

BCom (Hons)

Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination with Commerce/ Economics/ Maths/ Computer Sc./Finance/Financial Markets Management/Vocational courses with 50% marks in the aggregate

BSc (Hons) Maths Group

Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination with Physics, Maths plus any one of the following: Chemistry, Statistics, Geology, Computer Science, Information Technology and Geography with 50% marks in the aggregate

BSc (Hons) Bio Group

Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry plus any one of the following: Biology, Geology and Geography with 50% marks in the aggregate

BEd

Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanities/Commerce with 50% marks in the aggregate

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 50% marks in the aggregate

BSc (Hons) Agri

Passed 10+2/Intermediate examination in Agriculture or in Science (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology) OR equivalent examination with 50% marks in the aggregate

BTech Food Technology

Passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) with English with 50% marks in the aggregate

BTech Dairy Technology

BVSc & AH

Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or the Indian School Certificate Examination or Intermediate examination (or equivalent examination) in Science from a recognized Board/University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English with 50% marks in the aggregate

Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry

BA/ B.Sc./ B.Com./ Shastri (at least 10+2+3 pattern) with 50% marks in the aggregate

any other Degree under at least 10+2+3 pattern recognized by the Bar Council of India with 50% marks in the aggregate

BA LLB (Hons)

completed/ is appearing in Senior Secondary School (10+2) or equivalent with 50% marks in the aggregate

BPA

Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination OR

a Graduate/Postgraduate Degree; and (b) Vocal Music (Hindustani, Dhrupad)/Instrumental Music (Sitar/Violin/Flute/Tabla & Mridangam)/Dance (Kathak/Bharatnatyam) as one of the subjects in any of the above courses and the candidate is Passed in this subject also; OR

Passed 3-Year Diploma in Vocal Music (Hindustani, Dhrupad)/ Instrumental Music (Sitar/Violin/Flute/Tabla & Mridangam) Dance (Kathak/ Bharatnatyam) Examination of BHU OR

equivalent Examination

BFA

Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination with 50% marks in the aggregate

Shastri (Hons)

Passed Madhyama Examination of BHU/ Madhyama/ Uttar Madhyama/ Upa Shastri/ Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent with 50% marks in the aggregate
