DU LLB Preparation Tips from Toppers

The admission process for MCom at Delhi University up until 2021 was offered across two categories: Direct Admission and Through Entrance Test. Also, along with the entrance exam, interview rounds were also conducted for admission to Delhi University PG programmes.

There was no minimum age limit to take admission to the MSc programme offered by the university. However, DU PG admission 2022-23 was subject to a valid score in DUET as announced by the University. Starting 2023, the admission process of DU for its postgraduate courses, such as MA, MSc and MCom will be subject to the CUET-PG exam conducted by NTA.

After the results, qualified students will be required to appear for the seat allocation process conducted by the university for final seat allotment. While there is no information on direct admission on the official website of DU or its affiliated colleges students are advised to visit the admission office for more details on the same. 

DU admission is open. Admission in Delhi University is based on CUET-UG and CUET-PG scores. Below are the upcoming events for DU admission:

• The registrations are open for BTech course till Jun 6, 2025. Candidates having a valid score in JEE Main can apply.
• The university has released the interview shortlists for PhD Admission 2025 (Phase-II). The interview will be held on Jun 6, 2025.
• Delhi University PG Admission 2025 is open through CUET PG 2025. The seat allotment to all the PG courses of the university will be done through a Common Seat Allocation System PG 2025. Candidates can register till Jun 6, 2025.  
• The CUET PG 2025 result has been released for admission to PG courses. Candidates who appeared in the exam can view and download their scorecards by using their login details on the official website.
• The CUET UG 2025 exam is ongoing for admission to UG courses, and the last date is Jun 3, 2025.

DU is like a dream university for students around India. One of the reason could be low fee and high benefits. Candidates seeking admission to MCom at the University of Delhi are required to apply via CUET PG exam. Interested students can follow the steps given below to apply for CUET PG 2023.

1. Visit the official website of CUET PG 2023 – cuet.nta.nic.in.
2. Read the instructions and select the agreement checkbox followed by clicking on the tab ‘Click Here to Proceed’.
3. Enter personal details such as name, parents’ name, date of birth, gender, nationality, identity type and number followed by present and permanent address.
4. Choose a password and security question and enter the captcha.
5. Once the application number and password is generated, log in with the credentials to complete the application process.
6. Complete the CUET (PG) 2023 application form by adding the information around personal details, paper selection, exam cities, educational details and upload the photograph and signature.
7. The photograph and signature should be in JPEG format. While the photograph size must be between 10 KB to 200 KB, the signature image size must be between 4 KB to 30 KB.
8. The application fee has to be paid in online mode through credit/ debit card, net banking or UPI.

To get a good rank in DU CUET LL.B. 2023: 1) start your preparation early 2) get familiar with the exam pattern and syllabus and make a study plan around it 3) Take notes during the study, especially the stickling points or the ones that you think are important 4) Start solving sample papers, and also previous years question papers. The selection process for LL.B. at Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi involves appearing for the Delhi University LLB Entrance Exam (DU LLB) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates who qualify for the entrance test will be admitted to the various colleges of Campus Law Centre, Law Centre-I, and Law Centre-II of Delhi University. The eligibility criteria for admission to LL.B. at Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi is to have at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade point in the aggregate in the qualifying degree examination for unreserved and EWS category candidates. The admission process involves registration for the DU LLB exam, filling out the application form, submitting the application fee, downloading the admit card, appearing for the exam, checking the answer key, and waiting for the result.
