AP LAWCET/ PGLCET Application Form Process

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education conducts AP LAWCET 2026 and AP PGLCET 2026 exams to provide admission to aspiring students in 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB, and LLM programs. AP LAWCET is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2026, and the date of the AP PGLCET 2026 exam is the same, i.e., May 4, 2026. The AP LAWCET & PGLCET 2026 application process is being managed online at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The online AP LAWCET registrations began on February 12 and will continue till April 6, 2026, with the late fee payment of INR 10,000. The last date to fill out the APLAWCET application form without late fee payment is March 20, 2026.

 All eligible students should read the steps below before filling out the AP LAWCET 2026 and AP PGLCET 2026 forms. You need to know how to do the AP LAWCET 2026 registration right so nothing goes wrong later. How to Fill out AP LAWCET/ PGLCET Application Form?

To fill out the application form for AP LAWCET or AP PGLCET exam, candidates will have to first visit the LAWCET APCHE website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in, then follow two main steps:

STEP 1: Payment of Application Fee for AP LAWCET/PGLCET

• Visit the LAWCET Portal or website of APCHE, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/LAWCET. Thereafter, click on the box, "STEP 1: Eligibility and Fee Payment" as shown in the following image (for reference only):

• Now, fill out the required details mentioned below: 
  • Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number
  • Candidate's name (as per SSC)
  • Date of Birth
  • Candidate's Mobile Number
  • Alternate Mobile Number 
  • E-Mail ID 
  • Stream you want to apply (3-year LLB, 5-year LLB or LLM)
  • Category (if you belong to a reserved category)
• Once you have filled out all the details, you need to click on the "Proceed Payment" option. You can pay the fee through Debit/ Credit Card or Net Banking.

AP LAWCET/ PGLCET 2026 Application Fee

The tentative application fee that needs to be paid to apply for AP LAWCET/PGLCET 2026 is mentioned below:

 Note: Candidates must save the “Transaction ID” generated after the payment process for future reference. The application fee might change; wait for the notification release.

STEP 2: Filling the Application Form

After you finish paying the AP LAWCET application fee, the next step is to apply for the exam. This part is very important, so you must enter all details carefully.

Below are the details you need to fill in the AP LAWCET application form:

• Candidate’s Details: You have to type your full name, your mother’s and father’s names, date of birth, and gender. Make sure everything matches your certificates.
• Qualifying Examination: Choose your qualification: LLB, Degree in any stream, or Intermediate (10+2). Then fill in the year you passed, hall ticket number, marks obtained, name of the exam, and place of study.
• Entrance Exam: Pick which test you want to write: LAWCET 5-Year LLB, LAWCET 3-Year LLB, or PGLCET LLM.
• Photo and Signature: Upload your recent color photograph and signature in the correct format and size as mentioned in the AP LAWCET 2026 notification.

5. Regional Centre to Appear for the Test: Here, candidates need to select their preference for the APLAWCET exam centre from the drop-down list.
6. Category: Candidates need to select a category - OC/ BC-A/ BC-B/ BC-C/ BC-D/ BC-E/ SC/ ST. Apart from these, candidates can also select the NCC/ CAP/ Sports if they are applying for admissions under a special category.
7. Local Area Status: Candidates need to select the local area that they belong to under this column:

• AU (Andhra University)
  • OU (Osmania University)
  • SVU (Sri Venkateswara University)
  • Non-Local

8. Minority/ Non-Minority: Candidates belonging to the minority group need to select the “Minority” checkbox, and candidates not belonging to the minority group need to select the “Non-minority” checkbox.
9. Address: Enter the permanent address, as well as the current address
10. SSC or Equivalent (10th Class): It requires details such as a candidate’s SSC board name, hall ticket number, passed month and year, and place of study.
11. Physically Challenged: Here, candidates need to select their type of physical challenge (visually handicapped/ hearing impaired/ ortho handicapped) (if applicable).
12. Intermediate (10th Class): It requires details such as a candidate’s inter board name, hall ticket number, passed month and year, and place of study.
13. Annual Income of Parents: Candidates need to select the annual income of their parents i.e., Below One Lakh/ Between One Lakh and Two Lakh/ More than Two Lakh.

STEP 3: Form Submission

• The candidates need to submit it online after completing registration.
• They need to click on the disclaimer “I accept the Terms and Conditions” and press the “Submit” button.
• After this, the application process for AP LAWCET 2026 will be complete.  
• Candidates are advised to download the submitted application form and get printouts of the same for future reference.

Documents Required to Fill the AP LAWCET / AP PGLCET 2026 Application Form

Before you start the AP LAWCET 2026 or AP PGLCET 2026 registration, make sure you have all your papers ready. You will need your school marksheets, ID proof, and a few other documents for uploading. The entrances are held by APSCHE for students who want to study law courses like 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB, and LLM.

The APSCHE will open the application correction window after the closing of the AP LAWCET/ PGLCET Application window. The council will start the AP LAWCET/ PGLCET Application Correction Window to help the candidates make changes to the AP LAWCET application form 2026. Candidates must note that the TGCHE will allow for corrections as per the two categories mentioned below.

Category 1 - Candidates who want to make changes in the following 

• AP LAWCET Branch change,
• Name of the Candidate, Father’s Name,
• Date of Birth (as per SSC or Equivalent),
• Signature & Photograph, and
• Qualifying Hall Ticket Number (Diploma/Class 10th). 

Category 2 - Candidates who want to correct details or make changes in- Qualifying Examination, Local Area Status, Qualifying Exam, Year of Appearing/ Passing, Non-Minority / Minority, Medium of Instruction in Qualifying Exam, Annual Income of the Parents, Place of Study, Mother’s Name, SSC Hall Ticket Number, Birth State, Birth District Gender, Community Address for Correspondence, Mobile Number E-mail ID, Special Category and Aadhaar Card details.
