The MHCET Law 5-year LLB provisional answer key was provided on the official website on May 22, 2026. Candidates could avail the objection tracker facility till May 26, 2026. The MHCET Law answer key could be corrected during the two-day objection window. Candidates had to pay INR 1000/- per objection to challenge the answer key. The final answer key will be issued later, along with the result. Candidates must note that the 3-year LLB and the 5-year LLB answer key are released separately.

The MHCET Law 2026 Application Form dates were released through an official notification. The MHCET application process is over for both the 3-year and 5-year LLB courses. The applicant had to submit the scanned latest photograph and signature in the required format. They may be asked to upload the category certificate, residential proof, and date of birth proof (class 10th certificate), etc.

Q:   What should I carry along with the MH Law CET admit card to the exam centre?

Candidates will have to carry the following listed items to MH Law CET exam centre:

  • MH Law CET admit card printed copy

MH CET Law 2026 Exam Dates

The MHCET Law entrance exam was held in a computer-based mode on May 8, 2026 for admission to five-year and three-year LLB programmes. Candidates appearing for the exam at the allotted test centres had to report to the test centre on time. The exam was held in two shifts. The last shift concluded at 5:00 PM. Both Maharashtra-domiciled and outside-state candidates were allowed to appear for the exam. The exam duration was 120 minutes.

In the MHCET Law 3-yr LLB exam, if a candidate gets 100  to 115 questions right, then he/she holds high chances of getting admission to top colleges. However, a good attempt can be somewhere between 92 to 110 questions out of 120 questions.

As per the initial student reaction, the MHCET Law 2026 3-year LLB entrance exam was of an Easy to Moderate difficulty level. The English section was easy and less questions were asked from the current affairs section this year.

SGBAU MH CET Law cutoff 2025 was 76.78 for the BA LLB course in the 3rd round. In 2024 and 2023, the cutoff was 35.86 and 55, respectively. As per these cutoff ranks, we can see that the cutoff trend has seen fluctuation.

The last date to make changes to the MH CET Law application form for the 3-year LLB course was March 11, 2026. Post this date, no candidate will be allowed to make any corrections. No application fee will be accepted after this date for the 3-year LLB course.
