The JMI entrance exam eligibility criteria are determined by the exam authorities of the Jamia Millia Islamia University (JMI). The university conducts the JMI entrance test to shortlist candidates for admission in various courses offered by the varsity. The admission process of the entrance exam starts in March.
Candidates are required to register on the exam website of Jamia Millia Islamia: jmicoe.in. Candidates can fill out the JMI exam application form for more than one course. The application process continues for a month. The national-level entrance exam is conducted in offline mode (pen-paper based) at various exam centres. Through this article, candidates can check the detailed JMI 2024 eligibility criteria for Postgraduate and PG Diploma courses, to avoid disqualification at a later stage.
JMI selection criteria includes shortlisting of candidates on the basis of scores obtained in JMI exam. For some courses candidates are required to also appear for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The cut off for each course is released after the selection procedure is over and candidates are called for counselling and document verification. Candidates should go through the selection process mentioned in the e prospectus of JMI for their respective course.
As per the general guidelines released by JMI, the minimum qualifying marks in Objective Type/MCQs is 15% and in Descptive Questions is 30%.

Parameters that candidates need to meet to fulfil JMI eligibility criteria for postgraduate (PG) level law courses are mentioned below:

JMI Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit
Universities in India set upper or lower age limits for admission to their courses. However, JMI does not impose age restrictions. There is no upper age limit to appear in the JMI 2024 exam. However, candidates securing the same rank and marks in the JMI exam will be given preference, if they are higher in age than the others.

Jamia Millia Islamia offers admission to a total of four BSc/ BSc (Hons) courses via CUET UG. As per the CUET UG website, students seeking admission to BSc at Jamia Millia must appear for and qualify CUET exam. However, since some universities are also considering other components while giving admission to CUET-UG based courses, it could be a possibility of getting into JMI without CUET.
But, this being said there is no official information on whether the university will only consider CUET UG scores or other components as well for admission, it is tough to give the right answer. Students are therefore advised to reach out to the admission office for more details.

The admission process for BSc or BSc(Hons) course is conducted through the Jamia Millia Islamia entrance test, conducted by the college itself.Till 2021, admission was subject to the JMI entrance exam across all specialisations. However, starting from 2022, admission to BSc in Biotechnology and BSc (Hons) in Physics will be CUET-based.
