JMI application process 2026 is ongoing at official website. The last date to fill and submit JMI online form is March 25, 2026. Candidates who want to appear for JMI exam 2026 must apply for the exam before deadline. With JMI scores, candidates can get admission to different undergraduate and postgraduate courses in multiple fields, such as Mass Communication, Dentistry, Engineering, Humanities, Commerce, Law, and so on. The JMI application form 2026 was released on February 20, 2026 at admission.jmi.ac.in.

Jamia will issue admit card to only those candidates who will apply for the entrance exam. The JMI 2026 entrance exams will begin from April 26, 2026, on multiple days. JMI also released the important guidelines to be followed during registration in its JMI admission prospectus.

JMI Registration Mistakes to Avoid

1. Check JMI Eligibility Criteria: Students usually forget to check the eligibility criteria of JMI before starting the registration process. If a candidate fails to meet the eligibility requirements of the university, they will not be able to appear for the exam and participate in JMI counselling process.
2. Enter Accurate Personal and Qualification Details. Students have to enter their personal details like candidate’s name, father’s name, date of birth, address, gender, etc., in JMI online form. While entering these details candidates must be careful towards detail accuracy and their avoid making spelling mistakes.
3. Enter Valid Contact Information. Applicants must add valid contact details, including their mobile number and email address. As Jamia Millia Islamia will contact with candidates via their registered contact information, it is important to enter valid and active mobile number and email address.
4. Upload Quality Photograph and Signature. Jamia will not accept poor quality or blur scanned copy of passport size photograph and signature. Candidates must check the prescribed size and format of these documents before uploading in JMI registration form.
5. Keep Transaction Receipt. Once the JMI application fee is paid, candidates must keep the transaction receipt with them as a proof. In case, the candidate’s transaction fails due to down bank server or technical issues, but the amount is deducted from the account, the transaction receipt will help in getting refund.

What After JMI Registration?

Once the application window of JMI entrance exam closes on March 25, 2026, the university will provide an opportunity to candidates to edit/modify their online form, if required. The JMI correction window 2026 will open on April 01. The last date to correct details in application form is April 06, 2026. Jamia will share the direct link to correction window on its admission portal.

JMI Admit Card 2026

Candidates who will register for Jamia Millia Islami entrance exam will be issued admit card online at admission.jmi.ac.in, in PDF format. The JMI admit card 2026 is a mandatory document that a candidate must carry to the examination hall. Without hall ticket, JMI will not allow entry to the exam room. The Jamia Millia Islamia hall ticket will be released from April 17, 2026, onwards.
