Jamia Millia Islamia releases the admit card for JMI entrance exam 2026 on its Admission Portal. Students appearing for the entrance exam must take the admit card with them to the exam centre. Failure to do so will result in denial of entry to the exam hall. The JMI admit card will be given to only those candidates who will apply for the exam.
First and foremost, affix a recent photograph on your JMI Entrance Exam admit card and make a copy for yourself. The original admit card will be collected by the invigilator. Apart from that you only have to carry a government issued phot ID like your aadhaar card, PAN card, driver's license, etc. to prove your identity.

To crack the JMI exam, the candidates must prepare with the help of books and tutorials for conceptual clarity and then move to practice sample papers. Many candidates who have attempted the JMI exam before, can practice only sample papers and score high because they already have conceptual clarity. However, those tempting the JMI for the first time must give equal importance to both books and sample papers.
The difficulty level of JMI question paper is generally moderate level. The General Knowledge and Art, culture and literature sections of all the mass communication exam question paper can be termed easy to moderate whereas the descriptive section of the exam can be termed moderate in terms of difficulty level.
The JMI application fee will be refunded only if the transaction has failed. If a candidate successfully pays the fee, no refund will be given. So, students must check the eligibility criteria, application form, etc. before filling JMI application form.
What After JMI 2026 Application Window Closes?
After the registration window closes on March 25, 2026, Jamia Millia Islamia will open JMI correction window 2026 for candidates to make changes in their application form. Only registered candidates who will fill and submit their online form by March 25 will be able to edit their form.
