No, CAT is not the only exam based on which admission is granted. GGSIPU accepts the CAT percentile for MBA admission basis on which a merit list of selected candidates is released for the counselling round. Moreover, for the MBA in IT course, the university conducted IPU CET exam is accepted. In case the seats are left vacant after CAT candidates, then the seat allotment is carried out based on the candidate's CMAT scores.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers admission to MBA course through its affiliated college IITM in the full time mode. Candidates seeking admission to GGSIPU must have a valid score in CMAT. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, however, doesn't release CMAT scores in the public from last few years. Candidates having a valid score in are called for the GGSIPU Counselling based on the scores. GGSIPU accepts CMAT scores for admission to the MBA course across other affiliated colleges as well. Going as per the past year cutoff data, candidates seeking admission can expect an overall cutoff of 85.  

The total seats available for the IPU B.Ed programmes is 1,900. Additionally, the seats for B.Ed special courses is 243 (As per past years' data). It includes the seats available in the affiliated colleges. At the time of seat allotment, candidates are admitted as per this seat intake only. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University - East Delhi Campus has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

B.E. / B.Tech	Note: Blind (including colour blind), deaf and/or dumb candidates shall not be eligible for admission in these courses.
B.Des	Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream (Science / Commerce/ Arts or Humanities) conducted by any recognised Board of Education.

Candidates need to appear for the IPU CET entrance exam conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for BBA. Further, students must have to follow a seat allotment process via IPU CET Counselling. GGSIPU now also accept CUET-UG scores for admission to this UG course. Interested candidates need to apply offline by paying the requisite fee of INR 2,500. 

GGSIPU AYUSH cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to BAMS and BHMS courses. The last round closing ranks for the General AI category candidates were 37435 and 110826 for BAMS and BHMS, respectively. Thus, the General AI category candidates can get admission to the college with 50000 rank in AYUSH. However, at this rank, candidate can get admission to BAMS but not BHMS.

GGSIPU HSTES Cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The cutoff for both the courses in the last round was 537200 and 982047, respectively for the students belonging to the General AI category. Please note, the cutoffs for each category and round will vary accordingly. 

 

 

 

Aspirants fulfilling the eligibility requirements can visit the IP University official website to apply. For the respective entrance exam, candidates have to apply separately. The step-by-step IP University application process is further as follows:

1. Visit the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and click on the 'Admission' tab and further click on 'Online Admission Form'.
2. Read the instructions carefully, accept the declaration and click on 'Start' to proceed with the registration step of the application process.
3. Select B.Ed from the programme drop-down menu and register with the candidate's name, email ID and contact number. Further, click on 'CET' courses.
4. An application sequence number, user ID and password for future logins and a link to the application form is then sent by the university.
5. In the first stage of the application form, enter personal details, such as name, parents' name, age, nationality, etc. Also, enter the present address information along with the permanent address.
6. Upload the required set of documents and pay the prescribed application fee (INR 1,500) via debit card/credit card/net banking.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University admission 2025 to MBBS course is based on NEET UG scores followed by NEET UG counselling. The university offers MBBS admission through two affiliated colleges including North Delhi Municipal Corporation Medical College and Hindu Rao Hospital and North Mahavir Medical College. The MCC has released NEET UG last round seat allotment results. MBBS offered through VMMC has closed at 132 and NDMC has closed on 2986. As per the IP University 2023 brochure, the duration of all the MCA courses is two-year. The course is further divided into semester pattern. There are four semesters during the course. The syllabus might also be defined semester-wise. Candidates have to pass all the semester exams in order to get a MCA degree from IPU.

Aspirants who have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50%-60% aggregate are eligible to apply for MBA programme at GGSIPU. Candidates with a 50% score in graduation can also apply provided the requirement of aggregate is 50% or below. For MBA specialisations requiring 60% or above aggregate, candidates need not get admission with 50%.  

For admission to BBA course in any of the IPU-affiliated colleges, aspirants must meet the eligibility criteria. To be eligible, candidate must be a Class 12 or equivalent exam pass from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate. Moreover, candidate shall have studied English (core/ elective/ functional) as a mandatory subject in Class 12. For verification purposes, the aspirants also have to present the pass certificate and other documents during form filling and at the time of admission confirmation.
