Post the declaration of XAT 2019 result, selected candidates will be invited for the group discussion and personal interview (GD/PI) round by XLRI, Jamshedpur. This round is conducted to check the candidate’s GK and knowledge pertaining to business, communication skills and problem solving aptitude in practical situations.

Other institutes accepting XAT 2019 scores will also schedule GD/PI round in their own campus individually. The candidates must keep a check on the admission notifications released by their preferred institutes so that they do not miss the opportunity to apply.

There is no centralized counselling process for XAT. Final selection is based on the candidate’s overall performance in academics, XAT exam and GD/PI.

In XAT 2019, besides performance in the personal interviews (and/or group discussions), XAT performance, relevant work experience, academic background, extracurricular activities will be taken into consideration while preparing the final list.
