Karnataka Management Aptitude Test 2025 ( KMAT )
KMAT counselling 2025: The Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) counselling process is conducted by KPPGCA. The counselling schedule will be announced on the official website of KMAT after the KMAT cutoff has been declared by all the participating institutes. The participating colleges call the candidates who meet the cutoff criteria. KPPGCA conducts multiple counselling sessions for qualified candidates. KMAT results 2025 was announced on September 23, 2025. The KMAT exam 2025 was conducted on September 7, 2025. Session 2 KMAT result 2025 was announced on November 8, 2025. KMAT Counselling 2025 Highlights
The following are a few highlights of the KMAT counselling process:
- The KMAT counselling procedure starts after the declaration of KMAT results
- The KMAT counselling process includes two rounds; Group Discussion and Personal Interview which are conducted according to the individual institutes' schedule
- Colleges accepting KMAT scores release their respective merit list of the selected candidates who match the KMAT cutoff criteria
For admission through KMAT, students should choose 1 preferred participating institute when filling the KMAT application form 2025. The selection process for KMAT participating colleges can be different, as every college has its own cutoff.

Candidates who cleared KMAT, can apply for KMAT Counselling by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the participating institute
Step 2: Click on 'New Registration'
Step 3: Fill in the Application number/ Roll Number
Step 4: Cross check the several details that are prefilled from the KMAT form, including personal and academic details in the registration form.
Step 5: Upload photograph and signature in the specified format and size.
Step 6: Pay the counselling fee via the available payment modes. After successful payment, you will receive a payment confirmation message on your registered mobile number and email ID. Candidates then need to appear for the further selection procedure which includes GD, WAT and PI.
The following documents will be required during the KMAT counselling. Both photocopy and original documents will be required. Candidates must carry two copies of the original documents.

KMAT 2025 Counselling Process
- A merit list is prepared by each participating institute after the KMAT result declaration. Candidates are shortlisted according to the cutoff released. This merit list has the name of the students who have matched the cutoff and are selected for the further selection process which includes the GD/PI round.
- Candidates will have to visit the counselling centre as per the schedule where the GD/PI rounds will be held
- On the basis of the KMAT 2025 score and GD/PI scores, a final merit list will be released of the selected candidates and they will be called for document verification and then the qualified candidates will be offered final admission
