
KMAT 2025 accepting colleges or KMAT participating institutes are the top MBA colleges that accept KMAT Karnataka scores for 2025-27 admissions. KMAT exam is conducted by the Karnataka Post Graduate Private Colleges' Association (KPPGCA) for admission to postgraduate courses such as MBA, PGDM and MCA. The KMAT exam was conducted on September 7, 2025, in the home-based remote online proctored mode. The KMAT results was announced on September 23, 2025. The KMAT exam is conducted in about 13 exam centres across Karnataka, however, this year the exam is being conducted only in the remote proctored mode. KMAT exam scores are accepted in over 170 top B-Schools in the state of Karnataka.

KMAT Counselling 2025 Procedure
Following is the KMAT 2025 counselling procedure:
- A merit list is prepared by each participating institute after the KMAT results are declared. Candidates are shortlisted according to the cutoff released by each institute. This merit list consists of the names of the students who have matched the cutoff criteria and are selected for the further selection process which includes the GD/PI round.

- On the basis of the KMAT scores 2025 and GD/PI scores, a final merit list will be released of the selected candidates and they will be called for the document verification process.

The KMAT counselling is conducted in online as well as offline mode. Candidates who have qualified for KMAT exam must register themselves online through the official website. However, the Personal Interview WAT/GD and document verification round under the counselling process is held offline at the designated helpline centres. Candidates who meet the KMAT cutoff, need to visit the centre for document verification as per their rank and other selection rounds such as PI and GD. The seat allotment process is also conducted online based on the merit, category, and choices filled by the candidate during the registration process. Candidates can check their allotment status on the official website. The entire KMAT counselling process except the PI, GD and document verification round is conducted in online mode.

No, there is no fee concession on registration fee. The conducting body, KPPGCA, offers the same application fee for candidates belonging to the reserved categories, such as SC/ST as for the unreserved category. This year, the application fee for KMAT is INR 850, which includes GST.
