OJEE colleges or OJEE participating institutes are the top MBA colleges that accept OJEE scores 2025. The OJEE exam is conducted by OJEE Cell for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as MBA, MCA, M.Tech, B.Tech, etc. OJEE exam 2025 was conducted from May 2, 2025, to May 6, 2025, and from May 10, 2025, to May 12, 2025, in the computer-based test mode. The exam was conducted in about 39 exam centres across Odisha. OJEE exam scores are accepted in over 40 top B-Schools in the state of Odisha. OJEE results 2025 will likely be announced in the first or second week of June 2025.

Q:   How many colleges are under OJEE?
A: 

There are 89 Colleges Under OJEE for BTech, two colleges for BArch, 86 colleges for MBA, 44 colleges for MCA, and 29 colleges for Pharmacy. The seat intake capacity is different for all the campuses. The OJEE participating colleges are the colleges which accept the OJEE scores, government as well as private. Candidates who are natives of Odisha are eligible to take admission to the government colleges in the state and the candidates from any other state in India and abroad other than Odisha are only eligible to take admission to the private colleges in Odisha based on their scores in OJEE.

OJEE counselling is an online mode process for final seat allotment. Candidates qualifying the exam can participate in the OJEE counselling rounds on the basis of their ranks and schedule. Several colleges in and outside Odisha accept OJEE scores for admission to the MBA programme. Some of the best government MBA colleges in Odisha are: - Institute of Management and Information Technology, Cuttack - Utkal University - Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar - Fakir Mohan University - Sambalpur University - Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University, Baripada.
Q:   Is there an age limit to appear for OJEE?
A: 

Any graduate candidate with a 50 percent aggregate can apply for OJEE. The applicant must also be a citizen of India. There is no age bar for the candidates appearing for the exam. However, candidates appearing for BTech Marine Engineering exam must not be more than 22 years of age. Candidates in the final year of graduation or awaiting their result can also apply provisionally. They will be required to present their marksheets at the time of admissions.

Q:   What is the seat reservation policy in OJEE?
A: 

Reserved category students will be given a five percent relaxation in the minimum aggregate required for students from Schedule Caste or Schedule Tribe categories for all the courses offered through Odisha Joint Entrance Examination. There is also a 30 percent reservation for female students in Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Planning, Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Application, and Integrated Master of Business Administration. A detailed resrvation criteria is given in the table below:

OJEE Counselling 2025 Procedure

The OJEE 2025 counselling process will likely begin in the last week of July 2025 in the online mode. Read a few important OJEE 2025 counselling points below:

  • Candidates who meet the OJEE cutoff 2025 have to register on the official website of the participating institutes for counselling rounds. They need to mention their scores, rank, and marks and upload the relevant documents. Candidates also have to select the exam that they have appeared for. The counselling fee is INR 450 which candidates need to pay online.
  • After paying the fees, candidates need to choose their preferred colleges and specialisations. Candidates need to lock their choices and wait for seat allotment.
  • On the basis of the OJEE scores 2025 and OJEE cutoff, a seat allotment list will be released of the selected candidates. They will have to visit the counselling centre if they wish to secure a seat.
  • Candidates will be called for the document verification process after seat confirmation. Candidates will also have to make a part admission fee payment which is INR 10,000 for General category students and INR 5,000 for reserved categories.
  • Finally, candidates have to report to the allotted colleges and submit the required documents. Candidates need to pay the complete admission fee.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for OJEE counselling?
A: 

Students who wish to participate in the OJEE counselling must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria. 1. Candidate must have completed at least 17 years of age 2. Candidates who wish to participate in BAMS/BHMS counselling must have qualified in NEET (UG) with a valid rank 3. Candidates' parents should be a native of Odisha state. 4. Candidates have to present the Resident/Nativity Certificate during document verification 5. Candidate must have scored 50% aggregate in Physics Chemistry and Biology in Class 12 for General category candidates. The minimum aggregate for SC/ST is 40%. 6. Also, the candidates must have passed English Physics Chemistry and Biology subjects individually.

Q:   When will the counseling of OJEE begin?

The OJEE Board releases the OJEE counselling notification online on the website, ojee.nic.in. The OJEE counselling process has started on June 20, 2025.

Candidates who qualify the OJEE exam will be eligible to participate in the OJEE counselling process. The qualifying candidates have to complete the OJEE counselling registration online once the registration window opens. The registration process for OJEE counselling comprises registration, choice filling & locking, seat allotment, and reporting to the nodal centre. The authority will release OJEE counselling 2025 schedule online. The registration window will be open for approximately a month and the students can lock their choices and get the document verification done after the final seat allotment process is complete.

Q:   What is the fee for OJEE counselling?

The OJEE counselling process will be conducted for admission into different courses in the Odisha state. Students will have to fill the online application form in which they have to fill the college or courses of their choice. Candidates who wish to take part in the OJEE counselling process, need to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 450. Along with this, students will have to present original documents at the time of document verification at the nodal centers. Candidates will be allotted the seats provisionally and courses at first round of counselling. After the final seat allotment, students will have to pay the part admission fee of 10,000 or INR 5,000, based on the category online.
