OJEE or Odisha Joint Entrance Exam is a state-level entrance exam conducted for admission to various graduate and post-graduate courses by the National Testing Agency, NTA. The admissions are provided to various government and private management institutes in the state of Odisha. OJEE exam is held every year in a Computer-based mode (CBT). OJEE Cell will soon release the official OJEE notification.

Q:   Where can I find OJEE mock test?
A:

OJEE mock tests are available on the official OJEE website. Candidates who have registered for the OJEE exam can take the oJEE mock tests. In order to take the OJEE mock test, candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Visit the official website of OJEE
  2. On the homepage, click on the OJEE mock test link
  3. Choose the specific OJEE course for which the candidate wants to take the mock test. Candidates can choose OJEE MBA, OJEE MCA, OJEE BTech, etc.
  4. Login using the OJEE login credentials, i.e. User Name and Password
  5. Now, read the instructions carefully and start the mock test
  6. Answer the questions in the mock test within the specified time limit.
  7. After completing the mock test, candidates may receive a score and feedback on their performance. Take the time to review the answers and understand areas which need improvement.

Candidates should take multiple mock tests to practice and gauge their readiness for the actual OJEE exam. Repeatedly practicing with mock tests can help a candidate become more comfortable with the exam format and improve their time management and problem-solving skills.

Q:   Does OJEE cell conduct official OJEE mock test?
A:

Yes, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Cell provides official mock tests for various courses, including MBA, MCA, B.Pharm, M.Tech, and others. The mock tests are designed to familiarize the students appearing for the OJEE exam with the OJEE exam pattern and question type.

The OJEE mock test link is made live on the official website of ojee.nic.in. Practicing these official mock tests can significantly aid in understanding the exam pattern, managing time efficiently, and identifying areas that need improvement.

Q:   Are OJEE mock test scores recorded or used for admission?
A:

OJEE mock test scores will not be recorded or used for admission purposes. Mock tests are designed for practice and preparation only and do not have any bearing on the actual OJEE exam scores or admission to educational institutions. OJEE mock tests will help the candidates prepare for the actual OJEE exam as they help the candidates in understanding the OJEE exam pattern, type of questions and time limits. Candidates can use mock tests to assess their readiness for the OJEE and identify areas where they may need improvement. Mock tests can help candidates gauge their performance and make adjustments to their study plans accordingly.

OJEE mock test scores are not considered in the admission process to educational institutions in Odisha. Admissions are based on the scores obtained in the OJEE exam and other criteria specified by the respective institutions. Hence, mock tests will help them know the important topics to focus on and plan their preparation strategy better.

It's important to understand that the primary purpose of OJEE mock tests is to aid in your preparation and boost your confidence for the actual exam. While mock tests can be a valuable part of your study plan, they are not a substitute for the official OJEE exam, and their results do not impact your eligibility or admission chances.

OJEE is conducted for admission to courses such as MBA/PGDMMCAM.TechB.TechB.Pharm, Lateral Entry B.Tech, and Lateral Entry MCA courses. The registrations for Special OJEE will likely begin in the first week of June 2025. To get a B.Tech seat in a government college through OJEE, you should aim for a rank below 10,000. For popular branches like CSE or ECE, try to stay under 5,000 for better chances. Ofcourse, The exact rank may vary each year depending on the branch, category, and competition level.
