SNAP Selection Process - The exam score is the main criterion for admission to MBA courses of Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU). The selection process for the batch of 2026-2028, inlcudes SNAP 2025 score, Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interaction (PI).

SNAP shortlisting for SIBM Pune, SCMHRD Pune and other SIU colleges will in the second/third week of January 2026, after the announcement of SNAP 2025 result. The GE-PI round will be conducted in February 2026. SNAP 2025 exam will be held on December 6, 14 and 21, 2025. Registration for the same has started. Candidates who wish to pursue MBA from SIBM Pune or any other SIU institute must register for SNAP 2025 and appear for it because no other entrance exam score is accepted byt these institutes for MBA admission. Read below, all about Symbiosis MBA selection process.

Q:   Is any other exam score apart from SNAP accepted for MBA admissions at SIU?
A:

No other exam score apart from SNAP is accepted by the SIU institutes for MBA admissions. Candidates who wish to pursue MBA from the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University have to appear for the SNAP exam and clear it. The SNAP exam is conducted in the month of December every month.

SNAP score is in fact valid for admission to only the 16 SIU institutes. No other private or government MBA institute accepts SNAP for admissions.

Q:   What is a good score in SNAP?
A:

A good attempt of around 80 per cent of questions with 85-90 per cent accuracy is considered good score in SNAP. The SNAP exam has 60 questions only, so the number of attempts considered good are 40-45. Candidates must aim to solve a good number of questions in every section of SNAP, so that their overall score is good and they have a better chance of getting selected for admission. If you do not clear the SNAP cut off may not be eligible for admission to MBA programmers offered by SIU institutes. Meeting the minimum cut off is a mandatory requirement to be eligible for the Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT). Thus, when preparing for SNAP, keep in mind a target score. The SNAP cut offs are lower for Reserved category candidates.
