A:
SRCC GBO exam pattern is similar to CAT exam pattern, but SRCC GBO exam is less difficult. SRCC GBO exam has 160 MCQs that must be answered in 120 minutes. It has 4 sections, Logical Ability, Data Interpretation, Quantitative Ability, and English Comprehension and Language Ability. Each correct answer is worth four marks, and for every incorrect answer, candidates will be given -1 mark.
CAT exam has 66 questions that must be answered in 120 minutes. It has 3 sections: VARC, DILR and Quantitative ability.
CAT is a much more difficult MBA exam than SRCC GBO. CAT is primarily used for admissions to various postgraduate management programmes, including MBA, in different IIMs and other top BSchools. SRCC GBO, on the other hand, is specifically for admission to Global Business Operations programme offered by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.
Q:   What is the marking scheme of the SRCC GBO exam?
A:

SRCC GBO has a total of 160 questions. Each section carries 160 marks. For each correct attempt, four marks are awarded and one mark is deducted for incorrect attempt. There is no deduction of marks for unanswered questions. Therefore, the total marks of SRCC GBO is 640. Each section in the SRCC GBO question paper carries equal number of questions and marks. Sectional marking scheme for SRCC GBO is given below:

  1. English Comprehension and Language Ability: 40
  2.  Logical Ability: 40
  3. Quantitative Ability: 40
  4. Data Interpretation: 40

Since SRCC GBO has negative marking scheme, candidates must choose the questions to solve very carefully and smartly. If they are not sure of the correct answer, they should leave the question instead of taking a chance.

Q:   Is there negative marking in SRCC GBO?
A:

Yes, SRCC GBO exam has negative marking. Each question in SRCC GBO question paper carries four marks. One mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.
