
FMGE 2025 exam pattern is designed by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Knowing the exam pattern of FMGE 2025 helps students prepare for the examination better. FMGE exam pattern defines various parameters such as the exam mode, duration, number of questions that will be asked in the paper, etc. The NBE releases the FMGE 2025 Demo test for the June session, which enables candidates to familiarise themselves with the FMGE exam pattern.
Note: This year authorities mentioned one major change the question paper for each part of FMGE will be divided into multiple time-bound sections. For example, if there are 3 time-bound sections* (Section A, B & C) in each part of the question paper, each section will have 50 questions and 50 minutes for the section.
Applicants won't be able to proceed to the next section till completion of the previous section. Students will not be able to review the questions/ modify the responses of a section after the completion of the allotted time of that section.

Overall there will be 100 questions asked in the exam from Pre and Para Clinical Subject. Out of these 100 questions around 17 questions will be based on Anatomy section. Along with it, the same 17 questions will be asked from Physiology and Biochemistry sections as well.
Students are advised to attempt all the questions which are asked in the exam as it does not have negative marking scheme.
