Tips to Solve MCQs in FMGE Exam

Find out the quick tips to solve MCQs (objective-type) FMGE December question paper:

  1. Comprehend the MCQ: Read each question and mark an answer before moving on to the next one, unless it’s a difficult question that you don’t know
  2. Analyse the questions: Attempt all simple/easy questions and leave the difficult questions unanswered. Keep moving and don’t break your concentration.
  3. Apply reason while choosing the correct option: There are ways to use the information presented in the stem to make an educated guess when you can’t remember your material. The first-guess answer generally arises from the deep recesses of your unconscious memory. Try to make an educated guess rather than a blind guess.
  4. Apply time management technique: Time yourself to strictly adhere to an average of 45 seconds per question. Answer questions in clusters of 5 or 7 as a minimum. Time your answering speed. Allow time to go back to rethink difficult questions.
  5. Recall necessary information for guessing: Review the unanswered/marked MCQs & answered MCQs with the options you chose, only after you have completed the timed group of questions. Although guessing can make you uncomfortable, do not leave any answer blank or skip any MCQs & mark all because there is no negative marking.
  6. Answer each question in the order in which it appears

There is currently no limit on total number of attempts for FMGE. You can appear for as many sessions as needed. Very soon, National Exit Test (NExT) will replace FMGE exam. It may introduce new regulations regarding attempt limits once implemented. As of now, no limit for re-attempts.
