FMGE exam is of moderate difficulty level as per the student reaction and expert exam analysis derived from top coaching institutes and the evaluators. A candidate need to focus on FMGE exam preparation around solving the multiple-choice questions. As there is no negative marking in the exam, this makes it easy for candidates to attempt the entire question paper. However, a minimum of 50% marks needs to be scored in order to receive the Pass Certificate from NBEMS
Overall there will be 100 questions asked in the exam from Pre and Para Clinical Subject. Out of these 100 questions around 17 questions will be based on Anatomy section. Along with it, the same 17 questions will be asked from Physiology and Biochemistry sections as well.
Students are advised to attempt all the questions which are asked in the exam as it does not have negative marking scheme.

There is currently no limit on total number of attempts for FMGE. You can appear for as many sessions as needed. Very soon, National Exit Test (NExT) will replace FMGE exam. It may introduce new regulations regarding attempt limits once implemented. As of now, no limit for re-attempts.
