The Jharkhand NEET PG 2025 counselling process involves several steps, which begin as the candidate qualifies for NEET PG. Read the detailed steps mentioned below to apply for Jharkhand NEET PG counselling:

Jharkhand NEET PG 2025: Chronology of Events 

Jharkhand NEET PG counselling will be conducted in several rounds. The counselling for Round 1, Round 2, and the Mop-up round will be held to fill the vacant seats. The official counselling conducting body, JCECEB, will conduct the document verification process to ensure that the credentials submitted are true and valid. The JCECE NEET PG registration process will be conducted as the first step of the counselling process, followed by the release of the state merit list. Thereafter, the Jharkhand NEET PG option entry and choice filling exercise will be held online. The next step will be the release of the Seat allotment result, which will inform candidates if they have been allotted a seat in their preferred college and course. JCECEB will issue seat allotment letters to complete the admission process. This process will be carried out for all the rounds of counselling till the seats are filled for MD/MS/MDS courses. 
An additional stray vacancy round might be conducted if the seats remain vacant after the mop-up round. 

Jharkhand NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to get admission through Jharkhand NEET PG 2025 counselling:

• Candidate must be a resident of Jharkhand

• There is no upper age limit for admission

• Candidate must possess an MBBS/BDS (as the case may be) degree from the University of Jharkhand, recognized by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India

• NMC/DCI/SMC/SDC registration is mandatory for NEET-PG/ MDS 2025 qualifying candidates

• One-year internship in a duly recognised institution must be completed on or before the prescribed date 

• Candidates should have qualified NEET PG/NEET MDS with the minimum cut-off marks

Jharkhand NEET PG 2025 Counselling Registration

The first step is to apply on the official website and submit the application form for seat allotment. In this step, candidates have to pay the registration fee as stipulated in the official notification of JCECEB. It is mandatory to submit the application form to enroll for the NEET PG admission.

• Visit the official website jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in

• Under section NEET PG/MDS, select ‘Click here to Apply'

• Enter details such as name, contact number, email ID, date of birth etc.

• A login credential is generated and sent to the registered email ID and mobile number

• Login with your registration credentials and enter your personal and academic details

• Upload documents according to the given format

Jharkhand NEET PG Merit List 2025

JCECEB releases a merit list for candidates who register to participate in the counselling for Round-1, Round-2, or the Mop-up round. Candidates can check and download the Jharkhand NEET PG Merit List from the official website after each round. The JCECE NEET PG merit list will be released in two steps. Initially, a provisional merit list is released, and later a final merit list is released for the candidates.

Jharkhand NEET PG Choice Filling

It is a mandatory step within which candidates included in the state merit list have to fill in choices for college and courses in which they want to take admission. Candidates have to declare their preferences for college and courses online. In the next step, candidates are mandated to lock in the choices within the stipulated deadline. The preference of choices can’t be modified once they are locked.

Jharkhand NEET PG Seat Allotment Process

The counselling authority allots seats based on the choices filled by candidates, NEET PG rank, availability of seats, reservation criteria, etc. A separate result is released for each round of counselling. Generally, a total of 3 rounds of counselling are held, including a mop-up round for Jharkhand NEET PG admission. However, JCECEB conducted a stray vacancy round and a special stray vacancy round as the seats remained vacant after the third/mop-up round

Reporting at the Institute

After seat allotment, candidates will have to report to their respective allotted institutes for document verification and to complete other admission formalities.

Documents Required for Jharkhand NEET PG Counselling

The following list of documents is needed at the time of Jharkhand NEET PG medical admission:

• NEET PG Score Card

• MBBS Certificate

• Mark sheet and degree of MBBS examinations

• Medical Registration Certificate

• Internship Completion Certificate

• Photo identity proof in the form of a Certificate with an attested photo from the Head of the Institution last studied/Copy of Passport/Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Driving License (Self-attested photocopy after verifying with the original documents)

• Copy of Birth Certificate for proof of age (if the date of birth is not given in the HSC mark sheet/ certificate)

• Copy of Online Counselling Registration Certificate

• Sponsorship Certificate from the State Govt. If applicable

• Passport-size Photographs 8 copies

After the registration process, the counselling body releases the Jharkhand NEET PG merit list. The merit list includes the names of the candidates whose applications will get accepted. The Jharkhand NEET PG merit list comprises details such as the name of the candidate, category, All India Rank in the NEET PG exam, scores, state rank, etc. Initially, a provisional merit list is released.
