AMUEEE 2026 Centres: Check List of Exam Cities, Process to Select Centres

The authorities will conduct AMUEEE in various cities across the nation. Candidates will be able to attempt AMUEEE in Aligarh, Patna, Kolkata, Lucknow, Kozhikode, Srinagar and New Delhi. The updated information regarding the AMUEEE exam cities will be released through the official information brochure. During the AMUEEE registration process, the candidates will have to select their choice of exam cities for allotment of centres.

Aligarh Muslim University will release the list of AMUEEE exam centres online at amucontrollerexams.com. Candidates will be able to check the list of cities where the entrance exam will be held through the AMUEEE exam centres. Before filling out the AMUEEE application form, the candidates are advised to check the list of cities carefully so that they can decide their order of preference. The selection has to be done carefully as it will be considered during the allotment of AMUEEE exam centres.

AMUEEE 2026 exam date has not yet been announced. The authorities are expected to conduct AMUEEE 2026 as a pen-and-paper-test tentatively in the third week of April 2026. The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours and the paper will commence at 10 AM. For admissions in to the BTech courses offered by the University, the students will have to attempt and qualify and entrance exam.

No, Candidates will not be allowed to request for a change in the allotted AMUEEE exam centre. Since the centres are allotted based on the candidate's order of preferred AMUEEE exam cities, the authorities will not entertain requests for change. Therefore, the candidates are advised to be careful while filling out their order of preferred AMUEEE exam cities in the application form. 

There may be cases when candidates will not be allotted centres in their first preferred AMUEEE exam city. This may have happened due to lack of seats or less number of students who had applied for the centre. In such situations, the authorities will allot the candidates exam centres in their next preferred city. While filling out the application form, the candidates are advised to be careful while selecting their order of preferred AMUEEE exam city.

While filling out the AMUEEE application form, the candidates will be required to submit their choice of exam cities. It is to be noted that the selection of cities should be done in the order of preference. The candidates will have to select more than two cities where they wish to appear for AMUEEE. While selecting the order of preferred AMUEEE exam cities, the candidates should be careful since it will be considered during the allotment of exam centres.

While reporting at the AMUEEE exam centres, the candidates will be required to present certain documents for verification. All candidates will have to bring their AMUEEE admit card and valid identity proof at the centres. Some of the valid photo identity proofs that the candidates will accept are - Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, Driving License or any Govt. approved identity proof. Any one of the mentioned identity proofs will be accepted at the centre. If the candidates fail to present the admit card and identity proof at the centre, then they will not be allowed to attempt the exam.

All candidates are advised to check and follow the AMUEE exam day guidelines at the centres so that they do not face any problems. Some of the important AMUEEE exam day guidelines to be followed are:

• Candidates are advised to reach the AMUEEE exam centre atleast an hour before the exam to ensure that the security checking process is completed quickly.
• No electronic devices i.e., mobile phones, laptops, smart watches, calculators, etc., will be allowed inside the centre. Candidates are advised to leave the prohibited items at home or with their guardians.
• The parents/guardians are advised to leave the centre premises during the exam to avoid overcrowding.
• AMUEEE admit card and identity proof should be presented at the centre.
• All COVID-19 rules and guidelines must be followed at the centre.
