BITS Admission 2025: The Birla Institute of Technology And Science, Pilani has launched two new programmes: BE in Environmental and Sustainability and an MSc in Nanotechnology and Semiconductor from this session. Candidates who have passed the class 12th exam under the 10+2 system from a recognised Central or State board or an equivalent authority are eligible to opt for the new programmes.

For admission to BE in Environmental and Sustainability and an MSc in Nanotechnology and Semiconductor, they need to appear for BITSAT 2025. Those interested can submit BITSAT 2025 applications at bitsadmission.com. BITSAT 2025 will be held in two sessions: Session 1 from May 26 to 30, 2025, and Session 2 from June 22 to 26, 2025. The BITSAT application deadline for both sessions is April 18, 2025.

What is the eligibility criteria for BITS Pilani BE in Sustainability, MSc in Semiconductor Tech?

Those applying for BITS Pilani BE in Environmental and Sustainability Engineering must meet these BITSAT eligibility requirements:

Candidates must have completed their class 12th exam under the 10+2 system from a recognised Central or State board or an equivalent authority.

  • They must have studied a minimum of five subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, one language, and an additional subject.
  • A minimum aggregate of 75% marks is required in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics, with at least 60% marks in each of these subjects individually.
  • Both theory and practical scores will be considered when calculating percentages.
  • Students entering through the PCB stream at the 10+2 level must have proficiency in mathematics at the high school (Class 10) level.

MSc in Nanotechnology and Semiconductor

Candidates must have qualified in the class 12th board exam from a recognised Central or State board or an equivalent authority.

  • They must have studied at least five subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, one language, and an additional subject.
  • A minimum aggregate of 75% marks is required in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with at least 60% marks in each of these subjects individually.
  • Both theory and practical scores will be considered when calculating percentages.
