BITSAT 2024 dates have been announced online. The authorities conducted BITSAT 2024 in two sessions - Session 1 (May 20 to 24, 2024) and Session 2 (June 24 to 28, 2024). BITSAT 2024 seat allotment/iteration result for Round 7 has been released at bitsadmission.com. Candidates can now check their seat allotment status online through the BITSAT 2025 iteration. All selected candidates will have to confirm their admission before the final date, otherwise, their BITSAT 2024 seat allotment will be cancelled. The authorities conducted seven rounds of BITSAT 2025 iterations.
The authorities conducted BITSAT 2024 in two sessions as a computer-based test - May 20 to 24, 2024 (Session 1) and June 24 to 28, 2024 (Session 2). BITSAT 2024 Application Form
BITSAT application process consists of registration, form filling, uploading documents and payment of application fees. Below are the instructions to fill the application form of BITSAT 2024.
- Registration: This is very first step. To complete the registration candidates name, gender, email id, conatact number, date of birth, etc is required.

Filling Form: After registration you will be directed to the application form. Students have to provide education qualification, personal details, communication address, exam centre etc.

Uploading documents: While filling the form students have to upload scanned copy of their photograph and signatures in prescribed format.

Paying application fee: Pay the application fee online.

Submitting application form: After the payment the application form will be submitted.
BITSAT 2024 Exam Pattern
The authority released the exam pattern of BITSAT 2024 online. Students can check the exam pattern to know the marking scheme, mode of exam, duration of test, and types of questions. BITSAT exam is conducted online for three hours. The question paper consists of four sections. Each question carries three marks. Also, negative marking is done for wrong answers.
During the BITSAT counselling, the students will be allotted according to their rank, preferences, category and seat availability. The allotment result will be announced in the form of iterations. Once the students are allotted, they will have to confirm their admission.
BITSAT 2026 counselling process will start after the result is announced. For selection into the courses offered by the participating campuses, the students will have to participate in the BITSAT counselling process. During the counselling, the students will have to submit their preferences and pay the fee for allotment.

- Physics: The syllabus of Physics included topics like units & measurement, rotational motion, mechanics of solids, heat & thermodynamics, rotational motion, etc.
- Chemistry: In the Chemistry syllabus, topics like atomic structure, states of matter, physical & chemical equilibrium, s & p-block elements, principles of organic chemistry, hydrocarbons, and much more are mentioned.
- Mathematics: Some of the topics will be algebra, trigonometry, three-dimensional geometry, differential calculus, linear programming, etc.
- English Proficiency: Topics like Vocabulary, Grammar, Reading Comprehension, Analogy, and Composition are included in the syllabus.
- Logical Reasoning: Verbal reasoning- Analogy, Classification, reading passage, and many others. Non-verbal reasoning- Figure Matrix, paper cutting, rule detection, and many other topics are mentioned in syllabus of logical reasoning.
BITSAT 2024 Preparation Tips
Preparation is the most important factor to secure a good marks in the test. Students have to plan a proper strategy to prepare effectively. Here are few preparation strategy.
- Candidates must be familiar with the exam syllabus. Check the BITSAT official website for the exam syllabus.
- While studying the topics, the candidates are advised to prepare short notes for each concept and chapter-wise formulae should be noted down separately.
- After completing the syllabus, the candidates are advised to test their preparation level by attempting mock tests and the previous year's question papers.
- After attempting every mock test, the candidates should analyse their performance and try to identify their weak topics. The candidates should focus more on their weak topics.
- One of the most important parts of exam preparation is revision. Candidates can revise with short notes prepared while studying the syllabus.
BITSAT 2024 Slot Booking
Registered candidates were able to access the BITSAT 2024 slot booking facility online. Through the slot booking facility, the candidates had to select their choice of exam date and timings as per their availability. The given steps could be followed to book slots for BITSAT 2024.

BITSAT 2024 Admit Card
BITSAT 2024 hall ticket for Session 2 was released online. The credentials, like application number and date of birth, are required to download the BITSAT admit card. Important details like exam date, time, centre address and more will be present on the hall ticket of BITSAT 2024. The candidates must check the admit card carefully for errors in any of the details mentioned on it. In case of any mistake, they should immediately contact the exam conducting authorities."
Yes. Students who are 12th standard board toppers will be eligible for direct admissions through the BITSAT counselling. These students do not require a BITSAT score and will be eligible based on their board exam performance. However, the basic eligibility criteria has to be met.
Yes. There will be no separate counselling process for the different BITS campuses. Students will have to participate in the centralized counselling for admissions into their preferred campuses. The list of preferences have to be submitted during counselling for allotment.
During the BITSAT counselling, the students will have to select their preferences. The list of courses and campuses has to be submitted online according to the order of admission preference. The students should make their choices carefully since it will be considered for admission.
BITSAT 2024 Result
The authorities have released the BITSAT 2024 result/scorecard for Session 2. The candidates can check their moderated scores through the BITSAT result 2024. It must be noted that the result is available in the form of the BITSAT 2024 scorecard. To download the BITSAT scorecard 2024, the candidates will have to log in using their application number and password.
BITSAT 2024 Counselling
BITSAT 2024 counselling is being conducted in the form of iterations. The institute release an admission list and waitlist after each round. Direct admissions will be given to all those candidates who obtain the first rank in their respective State/Central board exams, irrespective of their BITSAT 2024 Score.
