The BITSAT 2026 registration link has been activated at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. Eligible candidates must submit the completed forms before the last date. Candidates have to complete registration, form-filling, select the preferred centres, upload the documents and pay the fee. Candidates can apply for both sessions together. The authority will open the applications for session 2 only on April 20, 2026. The form correction facility will be available from March 18 to 20, 2026.

How to fill BITSAT application form 2026?
- Go to admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in and click on the registration link. Provide your email address and mobile number.
- Next, fill in your details in the application form. All of the submitted information has to be correct. Select the exam cities.
- Students will have to upload their photograph and signature in the application form. The documents have to be as per the instructions.
- BITSAT application fee has to be paid via net banking, credit card or debit card.

Who is Eligible for BITSAT 2026?
The authority has released the official BITSAT 2026 eligibility criteria on its website. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling the form. The basic eligibility conditions are mentioned below.
- Students should have passed the 12th class qualifying exam from a recognised board.
- Should have scored an aggregate of 75% mark in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- At least 60% mark in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics each.
- English is a compulsory language.
BITSAT Eligibility Criteria Revised
Earlier, the eligibility section included a clause (c) that allowed students who retook the complete set of Class 12 subjects in a later year to be eligible for BITSAT, provided their results were available by the specified deadline. This clause has now been removed. While all other eligibility conditions remain the same.

Students will be able to access their BITSAT application number after they have completed their registration process. Once the students fill out their basic details to register for the exam, the BITSAT application number will be generated and made available for the students' reference.

What is BITSAT?
Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, conducts the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) for admission to BE, BPharm and MSc programmes. The BITSAT exam is conducted in online mode, and around 3 lakh students apply for it every year. However, the authorities also accept direct admissions for board toppers who meet the required eligibility criteria.

Previous Year's BITSAT Analysis
In the previous year, BITSAT was overall moderate to tough. There were more NCERT and mixed concept questions. Out of all subjects, the students found Mathematics as the toughest because of its lengthy questions. Physics was moderate to difficult, with more 12th standard questions. Students found Chemistry easy to moderate, and there were more questions from Organic Chemistry.

Through BITSAT, the students will be eligible for admissions into the three BITS campuses, which is in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. During the counselling process, the students can given their campus preference and it the cutoff is met, then they will have chances of admission.
BITSAT is held annually in two sessions. The first session is held tentatively in May and the second session in June 2026. Students can attempt one or both sessions of BITSAT to be eligible for admission. If both sessions are attempted, then the best score will be considered.
BITSAT is conducted online as a computer based test. The students have to report to their allotted centres and attempt the exam. From the different options given for each question, the student will have to select the correct answer and submit it.

No, there is no domicile requirement for BITSAT admission. All Indian students are eligible for admission, if they meet the basic requirements. Through the BITSAT eligibility criteria, the students can check the important requirements that need to be met for admission.

Additional Questions in BITSAT
Those who attempt all 130 questions in the BITSAT exam before the time ends will be able to attempt 12 additional questions. Once they start answering additional questions, they cannot go back to their previous section and edit it. Three questions from each section will be prepared as additional questions.
