BITSAT 2026 will be held by BITS Pilani as a computer based test for admissions into the participating campuses. Students will have to complete the BITSAT registration online to participate in the exam. Two BITSAT exam sessions will be held. Students are eligible to apply for one or both exam sessions. All About BITSAT: Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani is expected to announce the BITSAT 2026 exam dates soon. BITSAT will be held in two sessions tentatively in May 2026 and June 2026, as a computer-based test. Students are eligible to apply for one or both exam sessions. To be prepared for the BITSAT exam, the students have to be familiar with the official exam pattern and syllabus. For BITSAT preparation, the students have to study from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning.

The online BITSAT 2026 application form will be released at bitsadmission.com tentatively in January 2026. To participate in the exam, the students have to fill the application form with their correct details. The BITSAT application fee has to be paid through net banking/credit card/debit card. BITSAT 2026 Registration

BITSAT 2026 application form will be released online. To participate in the exam, candidates have to fill and submit the BITSAT application form before last date. While filling the form, required details have to be submitted. Candidates will also have to select their centres and upload their documents. The application fee has to be paid through net banking/credit card/debit card. Separate applications will be available for the two exam sessions.

BITSAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

For BITSAT, the candidates will have to meet the official criteria. If they are not eligible, then they will not be considered for admission.

  • Students should be of Indian nationality. NRI and OCI card holders will also be eligible for BITSAT.
  • There is no age limit.
  • Students should have passed 12th class qualifying exam from a recognized board.
  • Should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, with proficiency in English.
  • Students should have secured minimum aggregate of 75% in PCM and 60% individually.

BITSAT 2026 Exam Pattern

The official BITSAT exam pattern 2026 will be released soon. Through pattern, candidates can check how the exam will be conducted by the authorities. Some of the important information through the pattern are exam mode, duration, marking scheme, and more. BITSAT is held in two sessions as a computer based test at various exam centres.

BITSAT 2026 Syllabus

BITSAT syllabus will be available soon. Through syllabus, candidates can know which subjects and topics they have to prepare for the exam. BITSAT question paper will consist of topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning. To be prepared for the exam, students will have to study using the official syllabus.

How to Prepare for BITSAT 2026?

Students can follow tips given below to be prepared for the BITSAT exam.

  • Before starting preparation, students have to be familiar with official pattern and syllabus.
  • A personal timetable has to be prepared so that entire syllabus is covered before the exam.
  • They can practice for exam using mock tests and sample papers.
  • While studying, students can prepare notes for the difficult topics so that they can revise anytime, anywhere.
  • Students should revise daily for the examination.

BITSAT 2026 Slot Booking       

Registered candidates can access the online BITSAT 2026 slot booking facility. To book their exam slots, the candidates have to log in using the required credentials. Since the slots can be booked according to availability, the students should complete the process as early as they can. Once the slots are booked, they cannot be changed. Separate slot booking will be open for the two sessions.

BITSAT 2026 Hall Ticket

To download BITSAT hall ticket 2026, candidates have to log in using their application number and password. Details of the allotted exam date, slot, guidelines and more can be checked through the admit card. At the centre, the candidates have to bring their admit card along with identity proof. Without these documents, the candidates will not be allowed to attempt the exam.

BITSAT 2026 Result

BITSAT result 2026 dates will be announced soon. While the students can check their marks immediately after the exam ends, the moderate scores will be released through the BITSAT result. The result will be downloadable in the form of BITSAT 2026 score card. No offline mode will be used to announce the result.

BITSAT 2026 Counselling

BITS Pilani will conduct the online BITSAT counselling 2026 for all qualified candidates. Through the counselling, the candidates have to register and fill their 12th class details and preferred courses and colleges. The selection of courses and colleges has to be done in order of preference. BITSAT seat allotment will be announced online. Candidates will be allotted according to their rank and preferences. Once allotted, they will have to confirm their admission before the last date.

BITSAT 2026: Direct Admissions to Board Toppers

Students who are Central or State board toppers will be eligible for direct admissions into BITS campuses. These students will not require BITSAT score for admission. Students have to apply based on their marks in the Central or State board exams. The direct admission registration link will be available online. Students have to register and the result will be declared.

The official date for the BITSAT direct admission registration will be announced soon. Board toppers who meet the basic eligibility criteria can register for the direct admissions. No BITSAT score will be needed by the board toppers to secure a seat in the BITS campuses.
