BITSAT 2026 admit card for session 1 will be released on April 10 at bitsadmission.com. Students will have to use their application form number and password to access the admit card. Through the admit card, the students can check important information such as the examination date, timings, centre address, guidelines and more. At the exam centre, the students will have to bring their BITSAT admit card and any one original ID proof (Aadhaar card/PAN Card/Voter ID/Passport/Driver's License/School ID). If they are not able to bring the required documents to the exam centre, then they will not be allowed to attempt the exam. Separate hall tickets will be released for the different exam sessions.

How to Download the BITSAT Hall Ticket 2026?

Once the hall ticket of BITSAT is released, the students can follow the steps given below to download it.

• Go to bitsadmission.com
• Click on the BITSAT hall ticket link.
• Use your application number and password to log in.
• The hall ticket has to be downloaded and printed out. 

Candidates will be able to check their obtained scores immediately after BITSAT exam concludes. Moderated scores will be released online through BITSAT result 2026. To download result, candidates have to log in with application number and password. Result can be downloaded as a BITSAT score card. Separate score cards will be released for different exam sessions. If candidates attempt both exam sessions, then best score will be considered for admission.

BITSAT 2026 counselling process will be held online for all qualified candidates. The official dates will be announced soon. During the BITSAT counselling process, the candidates will have to submit their 12th standard qualifying exam marks and fill out their preferred choice of courses and campuses. The selection of choices has to be done in order of preference. The BITSAT 2026 counselling fee of INR 1000 has to be paid online. BITSAT 2026 seat allotment will be announced in the form of iterations.

Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences, category and seat availability. For every round of counselling, the BITSAT 2026 admit and waitlist will be announced. Direct admissions will be available for those students who have obtained the first rank in their respective State/Central board exams, irrespective of their BITSAT 2026 score.

BITSAT 2026: Colleges Accepting Scores and Courses Offered

Note: The candidates who will join the MSc programme are eligible to apply for the dual degree in Engineering at BITS Pilani after the completion of one year. This assignment is made by a competition analysis of their performance at BITS at the end of the first year. 

BITS Pilani has introduced tuition-blind admissions for the top 500 rank holders of BITSAT from the academic year 2026-27. Students who secure a place among the top 500 in BITSAT and have an annual family income of up to ₹20 lakh will receive a full tuition fee scholarship for all four years of their degree. Students must maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.5 at their campus to continue getting the benefit. The institute clarified that this is not a scholarship that students need to apply for after admission. The full tuition support will be part of the admission process itself. In the last year alone, the institute gave ₹132 crore in merit and merit-cum-need scholarships. Around one in four students across its campuses received some form of financial help.

BITS Pilani will prepare the BITSAT 2026 cutoff to select students for admission. The minimum scores needed to have a higher chance of admission will be released through the BITSAT cutoff. While preparing the cutoff, the authorities will consider various factors related to the examination and admission process, i.e., previous years' cutoff trends, difficulty level of the entrance exam, total number of candidates applying, number of qualified candidates, total number of available seats, etc. It is to be noted that the BITSAT cutoff 2026 will be different for every category, course and college selected by the candidates.

BITS RMIT 2026 Admission Process

BITS Pilani and RMIT University, Melbourne, are offering eligible candidates an opportunity to obtain dual undergraduate degrees from both Universities. Through the BITS RMIT programme, candidates with a valid BITSAT score can apply and gain the opportunity to enrol concurrently into both BITS Pilani and RMIT. The students will study mainly BITS subjects, but will also gain exposure to RMIT subjects. Students will study the first half of their degree at BITS Pilani and the second half at RMIT University, Melbourne. However, in the first two years of study, the students will be flown to Melbourne for a two-week introductory course.

For admissions into BITS Pilani and RMIT University, the candidates will have to attempt BITSAT 2026 and secure a good score. Those candidates who have applied for the programme and achieved the preferred cutoff will be contacted by the University to complete the admission process.

BITSAT 2026 registration link was available at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. Eligible candidates must submit the completed forms before the last date. BITSAT registration last date was extended from March 16 to March 19. To submit the BITSAT application form 2026, candidates had to complete registration, form-filling, selecte preferred centres, upload the documents and make fee payment. Applicants must keep the required documents for BITSAT registration ready before filling the form. The authorities have specified the BITSAT photo and signature guidelines to apply for the test. The authority will open the applications for session 2 only on April 20, 2026. The BITSAT application form correction facility was available from March 21 to 22, 2026.

How to fill BITSAT application form 2026?

• Go to admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in and click on the registration link. Provide your email address and mobile number.
• Next, fill in your details in the application form. All of the submitted information has to be correct. Select the exam cities.
• Students will have to upload their photograph and signature in the application form. The documents have to be as per the instructions.
• BITSAT application fee has to be paid via net banking, credit card or debit card.
• Finally, submit the form after carefully checking the details before submission.

Who is Eligible for BITSAT 2026?

The authority has released the official BITSAT 2026 eligibility criteria on its website. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling the form. The basic eligibility conditions are mentioned below.

• Students should have passed the 12th class qualifying exam from a recognised board.
• Should have scored an aggregate of 75% mark in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• At least 60% mark in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics each.
• English is a compulsory language.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria Revised

Earlier, the eligibility section included a clause (c) that allowed students who retook the complete set of Class 12 subjects in a later year to be eligible for BITSAT, provided their results were available by the specified deadline. This clause has now been removed. While all other eligibility conditions remain the same.
