BITSAT MSc 2024: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

BITSAT 2024 application form dates will be announced soon. The authorities will release the BITSAT application form 2024 at the official website - bitsadmission.com. Candidates will have to fill out and submit the application form of BITSAT 2024 before the final date. The authorities will not accept applications after the last date. Separate applications will be accepted for the different phases of BITSAT 2024.

According to the official BITSAT eligibility criteria, there is no specific age criteria for the candidates to participate in the BITSAT admission process. However, the candidates should have completed their 12th standard qualifying examination in 2023 or 2024. The candidates who have passed 12th standard in 2020 and earlier will not be eligible for BITSAT 2024. Yes. Candidates who are appearing for the 12th standard qualifying entrance examination on the admission year will be considered eligible for admissions through BITSAT. However, the candidates will be required to meet the basic BITSAT eligibility criteria that will be prepared and released by the authorities. If the candidates are allotted, then they will be required to show their qualification and other necessary documents at the time of verification. Failure to show the documents will result in the cancellation of admission.

The authorities are expected to release the BITSAT 2024 syllabus soon. As per the previous year's syllabus, the examination will consist of questions from subjects and topics of Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency, Logical Reasoning and Mathematics/Biology. It is to be noted that the BITSAT syllabus will be similar to the 11th and 12th standard syllabus. Yes, the candidates are advised to study the entire BITSAT syllabus for the entrance examination. By knowing the entire syllabus of BITSAT, the candidates will be well-prepared for the examination. To have higher chances of scoring well, the candidates should prepare the entire syllabus, while giving importance to recurring topics and questions that have more weightage. The authorities will soon release the official BITSAT 2024 exam pattern. BITSAT is conducted as a computer-based test and the total duration of the examination will be 3 hours. During the exam, the candidates will have to answer 130 multiple-choice questions about various topics from Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency, Logical Reasoning and Mathematics/ Biology. For every correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 3 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Candidates are advised to check the official exam pattern of BITSAT before commencing their preparation progress.

The authorities will conduct BITSAT 2024 as a computer-based test. As per the official BITSAT exam pattern, the entrance examination will be held in English medium only. Candidates will not have the option to choose their preferred language for the examination. All of the questions and instructions of BITSAT 2024 paper will be in English. However, if the candidates face any problems during questions, they can seek the help of the invigilators in the examination centre. Candidates are advised to be ready to attempt the examination in English.

BITS Pilani will announce the marking scheme along with the BITSAT 2024 exam pattern. For every correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 3 marks. However, if the candidate marks the wrong answer, then 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions. Before the examination, the candidates are advised to carefully check the marking scheme, so that they are aware of how they will be marked for their answers. Since there is negative marking, the candidates are advised to leave the questions unattempted, if they are not sure of the answers. 

In case the candidates do not have much time to prepare for the examination, then an effective approach should be taken. Using certain tips, the candidates can try to effective prepare for BITSAT in a short period of time. 

• Create a study plan - Firstly, the candidates are advised to create a study plan that will accomodate all of the topics that have to be studied for the examination. Each topic should be broken down into small sections so that the candidates are able to allocate enough time to complete the syllabus.
• Know your priorities - Next, the candidates should prioritize the important topics that are expected to have a higher weightage and spend more time studying and revising it.
• Go back to the basics - Candidates should focus on understanding the basic concepts and principles of each topic since it will make it easier to grasp the complex topics.
• Practice with past papers and mock test - During the preparation process, the candidates are advised to practice solving past papers and mock tests as it will allow them to assess their progress. It will also give the candidates an idea about how the examination will be held.

The difficulty level of BITSAT is considered to be in the same level as of JEE Main. With focus, determination and correct strategy, the candidates will be able to crack BITSAT and secure the scores that they need for admissions into their preferred course and college. BITSAT 2024 slot booking dates are yet to be announced. Candidates will be able to attempt the slot booking process separately for each session. Only the registered candidates will be able to access the BITSAT slot booking facility. During the slot booking, the candidates will be able to select their choice of examination date and time as per their preference and availability. Since it is a first-come-first-serve process, the candidates are advised to complete the slot booking as soon as possible. BITSAT hall ticket will be generated after the slots are booked.

The authorities will conduct the BITSAT slot booking facility as a first-come-first-serve process. To ensure that the candidates are allotted slots according to their preference, they are advised to attempt the slot booking process as soon as possible. In case of any mistakes in the BITSAT admit card, the candidates are advised to immediately contact the authorities. 

It is important for the candidates to complete the BITSAT slot booking process. During the slot booking, the candidates will be able to select their choice of examination date and time, as per the availability. After completing the slot booking process, the BTISAT 2024 hall ticket will be generated and be ready for download. The allotted examination date, time and centre will be present in the BITSAT 2024 admit card. In case the candidates forget to book their slots, then the authorities will automatically allot them one as per the availability. 

While reporting to the exam centre, the candidates will have to present their BITSAT 2024 hall ticket. Along with the hall ticket, the candidates will also have to bring their identity proof (Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Voter ID/Passport/School ID). If the candidates are not able to produce the BITSAT admit card and identity proof at the exam centres, then they will not be allowed to attempt the entrance examination. 

BITSAT 2024 result dates will be announced soon. Candidates will be able to access the BITSAT result/score card separately for every session. The result will be available for download in the form of a BITSAT score card. The moderated scores will be available through the score card, while the obtained scores will be available immediately after the conclusion of the examination. 

Candidates will be able to check their obtained marks immediately after the conclusion of BITSAT. After the candidates complete the examination and submit their answers, the obtained scores will be displayed on the screen. The number of correct and incorrect answers along with the total obtained score will be available thorugh the BITSAT result. The candidates will be able to download their result in the form of a BITSAT scorecard later. 

Yes. The candidates will be able to download the BITSAT 2024 scorecard. The authorities will release the moderated scores obtained in the examination through the BITSAT 2024 result/scorecard. To download the scorecard, the candidates will have to log in using their application number and password. No other mode will be used to release the BITSAT scorecard. The candidates will be required to download and print out the scorecard for future use.

Yes. 12th standard national and state board toppers who meet the basic eligibility criteria will be eligible to participate diretly in the BITSAT counselling. These candidates will be able to apply for direct admissions into the BE courses offered by the campuses of BITS. They will not be required to appear for BITSAT and admissions will be done based on their 12th standard qualifying entrance exmaination scores. More details on the direct admission process for the 12th standard board toppers will be announced online.

BITSAT 2024 counselling dates are yet to be announced. The official dates for the BITSAT counselling 2024 will be released after the result/score card is made available online. All qualified candidates will have to participate in the counselling process for admission into the participating campuses of BITS. The authorities will allot seats based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability. All candidates will be required to confirm their admission before the final date. 

BITSAT seat allotment result will be declared online at bitsadmission. Candidates will be able to check their BITSAT seat allotment status by logging in using their application number and password. No other mode will be used to release the seat allotment of BITSAT. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability. Only those candidates who have registered for the BITSAT counselling process and have a valid BITSAT score will be eligible for the seat allotment. 

Yes. For B.Pharma admissions into the BITS campuses, the candidates will require a valid BITSAT score. No other scores will be considered by the authorities for admissions into the B.Pharma courses offered by the participating campuses. However, 12th standard central/state board toppers will be offered direct admissions. These candidates can participate directly in the BITSAT counselling process. These candidates will have to meet the basic eligibility criteria for BITSAT admissions.

No. BITSAT is held to select candidates for admissions into the participating campuses - Goa, Pilani and Hyderabad. The obtained scores in the entrance examination will be used only for admissions into these institutes. No other colleges will accept BITSAT scores for admissions. After qualifying BITSAT, the candidates will have to participate in the counselling process for admissions into the undergraduate engineering courses offered by the Goa, Pilani or Hyderabad campus. Candidates are advised to check the admission criteria carefully before applying for BITSAT. 

Yes. The candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology for their 10+2th standard qualifying examination will be eligible to apply for BITSAT. However, these candidates will only be eligible for B.Pharma admissions. Since BTech/BE admissions require Mathematics as a compulsory subject, the candidates who have opted for Biology in their 10+2th standard examination will not be able to apply for the engineering entrance examination.

BITSAT 2024 exam dates are yet to be announced. The authorities are expected to conduct BITSAT 2024 in two sessions as a computer-based test. Candidates will be able to attempt one or both sessions of the entrance examination. The authorities will release the details regarding the BITSAT 2024 exam dates online at bitsadmission.com. In the entrance examination, the candidates will be required to answer multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning.
