The curriculum covers hospitality management, tourism trends, and digital marketing, aligning with the industry’s evolving needs.

Sister Nivedita University (SNU) in Kolkata launched Work Integrated Learning Program (WILP) in collaboration with Pride Group of Hotels.

The course is offering a unique blend of academic rigor and real-world hospitality experience to prepare students for leadership roles in the industry.

The WILP integrates classroom learning with on-the-job training, allowing students to gain practical skills while pursuing their degree. Partnering with Pride Group of Hotels, a leading hospitality chain with properties across India, SNU ensures students work on real-world projects, from front-desk operations to event planning.

“This program bridges the gap between theory and practice, creating industry-ready professionals,” said Dr. Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay, Vice Chancellor of SNU. The curriculum covers hospitality management, tourism trends, and digital marketing, aligning with the industry’s evolving needs.

Students enrolled in the WILP benefit from mentorship by Pride Group’s seasoned professionals and access to the chain’s network for internships and placements. The program is part of SNU’s BBA in Hospitality and Tourism Administration, designed to equip graduates for roles like hotel managers, event coordinators, and tourism consultants. With India’s hospitality sector expected to create 5 million jobs by 2030, SNU’s initiative addresses the demand for skilled talent.

Applications for the WILP and related programs are open at snuniv.ac.in. Students can contact the admissions office at +91-33-4000-4000 for details. As SNU continues to innovate, its WILP sets a new standard for hospitality education, fostering leaders who can elevate India’s global hospitality presence.
