Overview

ATMA registrations 2026 commenced for the May session on February 24, 2026. ATMA registration last date 2026 for the May exam 2026 was April 21, 2026. ATMA application fee payment last date was April 19, 2026. 

The registration fee for ATMA is INR 2000; however, there is a fee concession for women and aspirants belonging to the North-Eastern states of India. ATMA application fee can be paid online only through debit/credit cards, net banking or UPI. Eligible aspirants can fill out the application form online. ATMA exam for all the sessions of the academic year 2026-28 will be conducted in a centre-based online test mode.

Documents Required for ATMA Registration 2026

Documents neeed for ATMA exam registration 2026 are:

Scanned copy of the latest OBC, SC, ST, DAP category certificate as applicable Maximum size: 1 MB

Sponsored students have to upload sponsoring certificates as per the format available on the ATMA website

  • Sign on white paper with a black ink pen and scan it
  • Size should be between 20 KB and 50 KB

Important Instructions While Filling the ATMA Form 2026

Students should keep following points in mind during ATMA exam registration 2026:

  • Do not leave any field empty in ATMA application form.
  • An incomplete ATMA application form will be rejected by AIMS. 
  • Students availing of fee concession MUST upload valid proof during ATMA registration. An invalid or incorrect proof will result in cancellation of ATMA 2026 application form.
  • Apply as soon as the ATMA registration window opens to avoid delays or technical glitches.
  • Students have to upload photo and scanned signature as per the prescribed specification.

How to Fill ATMA Application Form 2026?

ATMA registration process 2026 includes fee payment and filling registration form. The process is explained below. 

Fee payment

ATMA application process 2026 begin with ATMA fee payment. To pay application fee, students can follow process below:

  • Go to ATMA website, atmaaims.com
  • Click on Click here to register for the ATMA exam 
  • Students will be redirected to fee payment page.
  • Students need to enter their personal details, including email ID, mobile number and Aadhaar number.
  • Click on Proceed to Fees Payment
  • Enter debit or credit card details and make a payment.
  • On successful payment of fee, a Personal Identification Number will be sent to students registered email addresses and mobile numbers through SMS.
  • PID  number will work as a login ID for ATMA.

ATMA Registration

  • After successful fee payment, candidates can proceed to fill ATMA application form 2026.
  • In ATMA application form, candidates need to fill in details such as PID, name, postal address, email ID, date of birth, mobile number, preferred test city, educational qualification, the exact percentage secured in SSC, HSC and Graduation, choice of institutes for reporting ATMA score.
  • Upload all documents, including a passport size photo and a scanned signature.
  • Once ATMA registration process is complete, candidates will be given their login passwords. The password will also be sent to registered email IDs.

ATMA Eligibility Criteria 2026

According to the ATMA exam eligibility criteria 2026, the candidate should be a graduate from a recognised university in the 10+2+3 scheme. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply for the exam. There is no age limit for ATMA. Besides, candidates who have applied for the ATMA exam earlier can reapply for other sessions. The candidates applying for the ATMA exam should be Indian citizens.

Q:   Is there any fee concession in the ATMA registration fee for reserved category students?
A: 

Yes, some students who are applying for the ATMA exam are eligible to avail a fee concession. Concession in the registration fee will be given to the following:

  • Candidates belonging to the North Eastern states of India are given 50 percent concession on the application fee.
  • 25 per cent concession will be given to women who are applying for the ATMA exam.

This means, the ATMA application fee for women is INR 1,500 and for those belonging to the North Eastern states is INR 1,000. ATMA application fee for General category students is INR 2,000.

Q:   What are the dos during filing the ATMA application form?

ATMA registration is an online process. Students who wish to appear for the ATMA exam have to fill the ATMA application form online on the website of ATMA AIMS. Here are a few "DOs" that the students should follow when registering for the ATMA exam:

Q:   Which are the most important topics to focus for ATMA preparation?
A: 

AIMS conducts the ATMA exam at least three to four times a year. This year, the exam will be conducted thrice in the computer-based test mode. Here are important topics for the exam according to the sections of ATMA question paper.

Analytical Reasoning: Every year, this section is considered to be the toughest among the others. This section contains questions mainly from Analytical Reasoning and Critical Reasoning. Some of the important topics of this section include: 

  1. Syllogisms

  4. Cause and Effect
  5. Statement and Conclusion
  6. Strong and Weak Arguments
  7. Statement and Inference

Verbal Skills: Just like other management entrance tests, this section is divided into Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability/English Usage. There are about four to five comprehension passages while the topics of English usage are as follows:

3. Quantitative Skills: This section of the ATMA question paper is also considered tough. However, the overall difficulty level can be considered to be moderate. Some of the important topics of this section include:

  6. Time and Distance

Q:   What is the ATMA exam duration? Can I change my exam slot?
A: 
The ATMA exam is held for three hours or 180 minutes. There is only one slot for the ATMA exam. ATMA exam has a sectional time limit of 30 minutes. This means, that the candidates will have approximately one minute to solve each question. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 30 minutes will get over, the screen will automatically move to the next section. There is no provision of changing the exam slot. And there is no provision to apply for the same. Candidates will have to appear for the exam from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must make sure that they reach the ATMA exam centre by 1:00 PM in order to complete the frisking formalities at the entry gate. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre beyond 1:30 PM.
Q:   What is the ideal time to prepare for ATMA?
A: 
Aspirants should start preparing for the ATMA exam at least six months before the test date. ATMA preparation requires planning thus one must start early. They can also join coaching institutes for focused preparation. Starting early will also help you assess that whether you need to join a coaching institute or not. Divide your preparation into three phases - 1. Covering the syllabus 2. Practicing mock tests, sample questions and 3. Revision. Q:   In how many cities ATMA exam is held? How many test cities can I choose while filling the ATMA application form?

ATMA exam will be held in about 100 cities across India. Candidates can choose up to three cities as their preferred test location. The candidates should choose the test cities in order of their preference. They should choose the test city carefully as the request to change the test city later may or may not be accepted due to non-availability of seats at the centres in that particular city. Q:   Do IIMs accept ATMA scores?
A: 

No, IIMs do not accept ATMA test scores for admission. IIMs conduct Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission to MBA programmes. ATMA scores are accepted by some of the best BSchools in the country.
