SSC CHSL 2025: The Staff Selection Commission announced the SSC CHSL Result 2025 for Tier 1 on the official portal at ssc.gov.in. It has been released in the form of PDF. The SSC exam for Tier 1 was conducted from November 12 to November 30. Candidates can check from here as well via the direct link. The SSC CHSL result PDF comprises the roll numbers of the qualified candidates along with the fathers' and mothers' name. Those candidates who passed the Tier 1 exam will be able to appear in the Tier 2 exam. It is expected that the Tier 2 exam will be held in March or April 2026. 

The SSC CHSL Provisional Answer Key was released on December 8 for Tier 1 exam. The last date to raise objection against the SSC CHSL answer key was December 11. SSC CHSL Result 2025

The Commission declares the SSC CHSL result after the conduction of an examination for different Tiers. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC ) released the CHSL (10+2) Tier 1 Result on ssc.gov.in. T he Commission activated the SSC CHSL 2025 result link for Tier 1 exam and contains the qualified candidates roll numbers, names, fathers' name, etc. Once the result is published candidates can click on the result link and search for their roll number. Candidates can check the SSC CHSL result using:

  4. Click and download the Result given for different posts
  5. Search the desired roll number

SSC CHSL Scorecard 2025

The SSC CHSL Scorecard consists of the marks of the candidates after the declaration of the result. It shows raw score, secured marks, category and cutoffs. The SSC CHSL Tier 1 result is expected soon. Candidates can download their scorecards of the SSC CHSL exam using:

  1. Go to the ssc.gov.in
  2. Go to the Login block given on the right-hand side
  3. Enter the Registration Number, Password and the captcha code as shown
  4. After logging in, the exam dashboard will be visible on the screen
  5. Click on the scorecard link given under the SSC CHSL exam dashboard
  6. SSC CHSL scorecard will appear on the screen
  7. Download the scorecard and save it for future reference

The SSC CHSL scorecard or marks for all candidates will be released based on the final result and cutoff marks.

SSC CHSL Cut Off 2025

The cutoff marks of the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam released along with the results. The cut-off marks released post-wise and category-wise. The merit list will be prepared based on the final CHSL cutoff marks. The SSC CHSL cut off marks will be released separately for Tier 1 and Tier 2 along with the respective result declaration. The expected cutoff for General Category is between 137 to 140 and for OBC  will be 132-135. The SSC CHSL cut-off of the Tier 1 exam is shared here.

SSC CHSL Qualifying Marks 2025

The authority released the SSC CHSL Cut Off 2025 for all the categories and posts along with the result on the official website at ssc.gov.in. Candidates need to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the CHSL exam to qualify for the next level. Have a look at the SSC CHSL qualifying marks below:

The SSC CHSL application form was available from June 23 to July 18, 2025. The last date to pay the application fee was July 19, 2025. The Commission activated the SSC CHSL application form along with the official notification. Candidates who are 10+2 pass and fall between 18 to 27 years of age could apply online for the CHSL examination. SSC CHSL Eligibility 2025

The official SSC CHSL notification mentions the detailed eligibility conditions that candidates need to fulfil for the exam. The eligibility criteria that candidates need to fulfil for the SSC CHSL Combined Higher Secondary Level exam are shared below.

SSC CHSL Eligibility 2025: Nationality

A candidate must be either a citizen of India or

  •  A subject of Nepal/Bhutan,

SSC CHSL Age Limit 2025

A candidate must be between 18 and 27 years of age to be eligible to apply for the SSC CHSL recruitment as on January 1, 2026.

SSC CHSL Selection Process for 10+2 SSC Exam

The SSC CHSL competition level is quite high, given the low number of vacancies and the high number of applicants. Candidates need to know the SSC CHSL recruitment process to clear the exam amid high competition. Candidates can check the CHSL (10+2) selection process below, which includes the following steps:

Step 1: Apply online for CHSL 

Registration is mandatory to fill out the SSC CHSL application form. After registration, the candidates can fill out the CHSL application form online.

  • Registration: Candidates need to visit the official website of SSC (ssc.gov.in) and click on the New User. Register Now link. Candidates need to fill in all the details asked in the SSC registration form. On successful registration, a registration number and password will be generated. Candidates need to note down the registration number and password and retain the details for future reference.
  • Application Form: Candidates need to log in with their registration number and password. Candidates need to fill out the SSC CHSL application form after logging into the official website. After filling in the details, the candidates need to submit the application fee as per their category.

Step 2: Download the Tier 1 admit card

The Tier 1 SSC CHSL admit card is released four days before the exam date. Candidates can download their admit cards for the exam from the regional websites of the commission.

Step 3: Appear for Tier 1 exam

Candidates who successfully apply for the exam need to appear for the Tier 1 paper. SSC CHSL Tier 1 is a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The CBT contains 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Step 4: Check Tier 1 result

SSC CHSL Tier 1 result is released online only. The result contains the names and roll numbers of all the candidates who clear the Tier 1 exam. 

Step 5: Download Tier 2 admit card

The Tier 2 admit cards are released for candidates who clear the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam. The admit card is released online on the regional websites of the Staff Selection Commission.

Step 6: Appear for Tier 2 exam

The Tier 2 SSC CHSL exam is conducted online as per the exam pattern prescribed by the Commission.

Step 7: Check Tier 2 result

SSC CHSL Tier 2 result is declared online. The result contains the roll number of the candidates. The candidates need to check their roll number in the result PDF.

Step 8: Appear for Document Verification

All candidates who qualify SSC CHSL exam finally have to appear for the document verification round. Candidates need to appear for a document verification round along with all the educational and other documents (original and photocopies) such as Class 10 and 12 certificates, caste/category certificate, PwD certificate, relevant certificate if seeking age relaxation, two passport-size photos, photo ID proof, etc.

Candidates do not need to upload scanned images of their photographs on the SSC CHSL application form. The new application module on the website- ssc.gov.in captures live photos of candidates. For capturing SSC CHSL live photo, candidates need to have a webcam on a computer/ laptop or an Android device for capturing live photo. Candidates need to fulfill the following requirements for live photo.

  • Find a place with good light and plain background.
  • Camera should be at eye level.
  • Position yourself directly in front of the camera and look straight.
  • Do not wear a cap, mask, glasses or spectacles.

However, candidates need to upload the scanned image of their signature on the form.

Q:   Can I pay the SSC CHSL application fee offline through a bank challan?

Candidates cannot pay the SSC CHSL application fee in offline mode. The exam fee needs to be paid online through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. 

Q:   What is the time duration of the SSC CHSL Exam?
A: 

The SSC CHSL exam is conducted in two tiers, that is, Tier I and Tier II. All four sections of the SSC CHSL Tier I exam will last 60 minutes for all candidates and 80 minutes for those who are eligible to scribe. Further, the time duration in the SSC CHSL Tier II exam, will be two hours and fifteen minutes for Session I and for Session II, Section 3 (Module II), fifteen minutes for the skill test for DEO, and ten minutes for the typing test for LDC/ JSA.

Q:   Is Aadhaar card mandatory to apply for SSC CHSL exam?
