CSIR NET 2026 July 17 Shift 2 Exam Analysis OUT: The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the CSIR NET 2026 June session exam on July 17 in two shifts. The NTA conducted the CSIR NET exam for Life Science, Physical Science and Mathematical Science on July 17 in two shifts. In Shift 2 Mathematical Science and Physical Science exam was conducted by the NTA in an online mode. In Mathematical Science, 120 MCQs were asked in the exam, and candidates needed to attempt 60 questions. On the other hand, in Physical Science subject, a total of 75 questions were asked and candidates required to attempts 55 questions.

As per the feedback received from the students, todays Mathematical Science Exam overall difficulty level is Moderate. As per the feedback received from the students, the exam was not lengthy. Part A was easy. Part B and C are asked from the syllabus only. Linear Algebra was easy.

CSIR NET 2026 June Answer Key
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the CSIR NET Answer Key 2026 one week after the exam was concluded. Candidates will be able to raise objections against the CSIR UGC NET 2026 June Provisional Answer Key by logging into the official website for a specific time period. The Answer Key will be available in the PDF format. After releasing the final answer key, CSIR NET Result & Cut-off will soon be published by NTA on the official website.

Yes. The admit card for the CSIR NET 2026 June session was released on the official portal at csirnet.nta.nic.in on July 13. The exam will be held on July 17 and 18.
