Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has successfully conducted IBPS Clerk mains exam 2022 on October 8. The IBPS Clerk Mains exam was conducted online mode at various exam centres across the country. Candidates who cleared the preliminary exam appeared for the mains examination. According to candidates, the IBPS Clerk Mains exam 2022 was of moderate level.

IBPS Clerk recruitment was conducted to fill up a total of 6035 vacancies in various participating banks. IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Pattern 2022

IBPS Clerk mains pattern comprised four sections: General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude. IBPS Clerk mains time duration was 160 minutes with sectional timings. The test carried a total of 190 questions and total marks were 200.

Shiksha reported live from one of the IBPS Clerk mains exam centre in Greater Noida to gather the feedback provided by students regarding the overall difficulty level of the exam. Candidates can below the feedback shared by students.

Karanveer said, “In English, there were two passages, rearrangement, two error detection questions, etc. In General Awareness, the questions were tough. There were questions from the liveability index. The Quant section was doable and there were three DIs questions, Arithmetic, Number Series, etc. The Reasoning section was tough and puzzle questions were flat and floor-based, Sudoku-based, statement and assumption (10 to 12 questions). The overall paper was moderate.”

Neha said, “In GA, questions were asked from RBI circulars, scheme. Reasoning and Quant sections were easy. The computer aptitude questions were easy. The English section was average. Since the level of exam was on easier side, IBPS Clerk mains cut off will go high.”

Nitesh Kumar said, “Questions asked in the Reasoning section were moderate. English section was easy and the Quant section was easy to moderate. In Quant, questions were asked from line graph, simple DI, caselet, Arithmetic, Simplification, Quadratic Equation, etc. In GA, around five questions were asked from static GK and the rest were of GA. In static GK, questions were asked from schemes. The overall paper was easy to moderate.”

Saurav said, “In GA, questions were asked from the last four to five months current affairs. The English section was moderate and questions were asked from word formation, para jumbles, Reading Comprehension. The Reasoning section was moderate and there were 10 to 12 questions for two marks and around 30 questions for one mark. The level of the Quant was easy to moderate. The overall paper was moderate.”
