Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is conducting IBPS RRB 2021 exam for Office Assistant (Multipurpose). The overall level of IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2021 exam was ‘Easy to Moderate’. Thousands of candidates appeared for IBPS RRB Office Assistant/Clerk exam at various exam centres.

IBPS RRB Office Assistant prelims exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for the mains exam. The marks of the prelims exam will not be counted for final selection. To qualify the prelims exam, candidates need to secure the section-wise and overall IBPS RRB cutoff marks.

  • The cutoff of IBPS RRB prelims exam for Office Assistant post is expected to be around 60

IBPS RRB Prelims Exam Analysis 2021 for Office Assistant

According to IBPS RRB exam pattern 2021, the prelims exam of Office Assistant carried questions from Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability. A total of 80 questions were asked in the exam which candidates had to answer within 45 minutes. The total marks allotted to the test are 80.

Shiksha reported live from one of the IBPS RRB exam centres in Dibrugarh (Assam). Check below the feedback shared by the students.

Bhashwati Konwar said, "The overall paper was easy. The Numerical Ability section was easy and questions were doable. QUestions in this section were asked from DI (2 questions), Simplification, Word Problem, etc. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Blood Relation, Direction, Seating Arrangement, Puzzles, Chinese Coding. There were no questions from Inequalities. Seating Arrangement questions were box-based, parallel-line-based, etc."

Manash Gogoi, "The overall paper was easy but I could not complete it on time. Reasoning questions were asked from Blood Relation, Puzzles, Direction, Syllogism, Miscellaneous, Chinese Coding, etc. In Numerical Ability, there were two DI questions of 5 marks each, Simplification, Missing Number Series, Partnership, etc."

Sourav Dey, "The overall paper was easy. Both the sections-Reasoning and Numerical Ability were easy. Questions in Maths were asked from Simplification, DI, Number Series. In Reasoning questions were asked from Seating Arrangement, Syllogism, Puzzles, Alphanumeric Series, etc.

IBPS RRB scorecard is required to be downloaded online only. There is no facility to check the same offline. It is released few days after the declaration of the result. Candidates can get it by logging with the required credentials.

There is no facility to recheck IBPS RRB result. The same announced by the examination authority is considered as final. The result is announced online. Candidates can check their results by logging with the required credentials.

IBPS RRB normalisation of marks is done since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts. This is followed to adjust the difficulty level of the questions across various sessions. The result and cut off are decided based on normalisation.
