IBPS RRB Clerk

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is conducting IBPS RRB Clerk 2020 exam on September 19, 20 and 26 in five shifts amid COVID-19 pandemic. Adequate arrangements due to COVID-19 were made at the exam centres. Candidates had to wear a mask. The security guards checked the temperature of candidates at the entry gate. Candidates were made to sit at a distance of six feet from another person. Candidates had to carry a self-declaration regarding their health condition and travel history as per the format given by IBPS. According to IBPS RRB Clerk exam analysis by students, the overall paper was easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. 

Shiksha visited one of the IBPS RRB exam centres 2020 in Gurugram to gather the feedback of candidates regarding the arrangements done due to COVID-19 and the difficulty level of exam.

IBPS RRB Clerk 2020 Student Reaction & Review: Experience amid COVID-19

Abhishek Gupta said, “The arrangements made due to COVID-19 pandemic was good. We were made to sit at a distance of six feet. Our temperatures were checked at the entry gate. Rough sheets were kept at our desks. After completion of the exam, we have to drop the rough sheets and call letters in the separate boxes.”

Rupal Sharma said, “ I am very happy with the arrangements made due to COVID-19 pandemic. Proper sanitisation was done before we were allowed to enter the exam hall.”

Taniya Sarkar said,"We were asked to stand in a queue as the yellow marking on the floor. Our temperature was checked at entry gate. We had to wash our hands before entering the lab."

IBPS RRB Clerk 2020 Student Reaction & Review: Exam Difficulty level

Amrapalli Sen said, "The paper of IBPS RRB Clerk/Office Assistant was easy to moderate. The pattern was similar to the last year's question paper. There were questions on Simplification, Data Interpretation, Profit and loss."

Shabana Begum said, "I found the paper to be a bit lengthy. According to me, the Reasoning Section was moderate while the Quantitative Aptitude section was easy to moderate."

IBPS RRB scorecard is required to be downloaded online only. There is no facility to check the same offline. It is released few days after the declaration of the result. Candidates can get it by logging with the required credentials.

There is no facility to recheck IBPS RRB result. The same announced by the examination authority is considered as final. The result is announced online. Candidates can check their results by logging with the required credentials.

IBPS RRB normalisation of marks is done since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts. This is followed to adjust the difficulty level of the questions across various sessions. The result and cut off are decided based on normalisation.
