DSSSB TGT 2023 Exam Details

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is a recruitment board that conducts various exams for the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCT of Delhi). DSSSB conducts all the exams that come under the teaching and non-teaching department.  

The DSSSB recruitment exam is conducted once a year. DSSSB releases the notification for different posts along with various details like dates, pay scale, and eligibility criteria. The details of DSSSB TGT have been provided in this article.  

DSSSB TGT 2023 Vacancy Highlights  

DSSSB releases various TGT posts every year. DSSSB has released approx. 10000 vacancies for Trained Graduate Teachers in 2022. The DSSSB vacancies were out for the posts of TGT, Drawing Teacher, Domestic Science Teacher, Physical Education Teacher, Assistant Nursery Teacher, Special Education Teacher, Computer Science (Male and Female), Education and Vocational Counsellor, etc. 

DSSSB TGT Eligibility 2023  

The candidates aspiring to fill out the application form for DSSSB TGT 2023 must check the eligibility criteria for their candidature. The candidates who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria for DSSSB TGT 2023 will not be allowed to take the exam of Trained Graduate Teacher, Delhi. DSSSB TGT 2023 Educational Qualifications 

The educational qualifications for the DSSSB TGT 2023 have been given below for the aspiring candidates: 

  • 12th class or its equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks and 2 – years Diploma in elementary education /4- year Bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed)/ 2 – years Diploma in Education (special education) from a recognized Board. 

OR 

  • 12th class or its equivalent with at least 45 per cent marks and 2 – years Diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) regulations – 2002. 

OR 

  • Graduation and 2 – years Diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known) from a recognized Board
  • Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
  • Must have passed Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi or English as a subject at the Secondary Level
